I love this movie. I wish our country would have stayed like this back in this era. Times were so much better than it is now.

@@rorybaxter8445 Not to mention vaccines for polio, discrimination against women, women couldn't get a credit card to 1975? In their own name, wage difference, women needed a cosigner for a car, KKK, no safe place to go for women and kids that were abused, rape, incest, child abuse, animal abuse, discrimination and torture against mentally and physically disabled people, racial discrimination, plus many more things. Holocaust survivors we're trying to survive, Korean War Veterans, Vietnam. If you were white , lived in a middle class neighborhood, had parents that didn't abuse you, then it was a good place and time to grow up. That only applied to a select few.

Ditto - we are in a bad place and I fear there is no turning back … thank god for memories . Almost like we are living in Orwell’s 1984; remembering better times, simpler times . Before the fear took over.

@@rorybaxter8445 We are talking about two different things. I love the older Disney movies that were fun, entertaining and wholesome. Animal rights and child labor laws improved how movies were made across the board not just Disney. Yes I love Disney older movies and hate the new administration and the "entertainment" they are producing now. You have your druthers and I have mine. Good luck.

Darn this makes me miss my childhood. Disney put out so many wonderful movies that enlightened people as to responsibilities, power to change and forces that would try to overcome and manipulate one’s chances for a brighter future. Loved this.

I'll say it again I've said it a hundred times just cuz we can doesn't mean we should I grew up in the sixties and seventies and it was so much of a easy simpler time Summer's lasted forever everyday was fun and affordable gas was 35 cents a gallon pack of cigarettes one but 50 cent and you could go to the movie and buy two tickets a big tub of popcorn two candy bars and two drinks for $4 I guess that's why they call it the good old days
