There are people who did not wait and have been married 30 years and still in love. They waited, wrote a book, and called it quits. We don’t know how things will turn out.
@thedrflo45582 жыл бұрын
True I agree. Or perhaps we can do our best and trust that things work out well... My heart is with them both and with all who yearn for love and marriage. It seems it is beyond "waiting"... some did it 'God's way" and still... didn't last. Others don't know God or "believe" as some do, yet they have amazing lives that work, successful marriages, good kids, and strong families for generations even. I dare say we seem to be missing the boat on this by focusing on spirituality versus personal responsibility. Could it be that it's each of our own personal responsibility to be thoughtful, analytical, and thoroughly critical in screening, vetting, and then choosing a partner? Perhaps taking into consideration, red flags, compatibility, life goals and values, personal and family history, spirituality (not religion), medical history, education, and wealth/finances, to mention a few areas deserving deep thought and concern (beyond putting it all "under the blood"). Perhaps God has given us the responsibility to choose - wisely? I think as with success in anything knowledge is power and education is key; above all wisdom is profitable to direct. Find those who know how to choose and learn from those who can, who've got what you (we) want in terms of longevity if that matters to you (us), an extraordinary love if that's what you (we) seek, and an enduring marriage and family legacy if that is what your (one's) heart desires. Peace and blessings 🕊

The lady wasn’t trying to be malicious at all. She was nervous to ask the question in the first place, that type of response wasn’t necessary. The lady was simply asking now that you’re married to a pastor and converted to Christianity will you dress less revealing and dress more conservative? Which is a good question. To answer like that and embarrass her by doing all that wasn’t cool. So I mean at the end of the day he believes that she can wear what she want and sees no problem. Could have said that cool calm and collective. I would have asked the same question.
@DallenaMoore3 жыл бұрын
I don’t believe that is what she meant at all. They aren’t perfect either . I think he answered that perfectly, because her judgement was unnecessary.
@mercymacnackofficial49813 жыл бұрын
I agree, as a public christian you caanot send mix signals, that is what the lady meant, if your body is a temple of God like Devonn quoted earlier about Roman 12 then i dont understand his reaction. Correction is part of it all, that is how we grow also. If you are only welcoming compliments, you are not gonna grow. So if im saying in my book be celibate but i hang my breast out on a cover of a magazine how am i helping others to stay celibate. Than i am encouraging lust. I think the reason why he got defensive is that the lady commanded her to cover up from now on instead of being real and asked megan how is that effecting her spirit and her marriage and her relationship with Devon and God, because obviously that is an issue she is dealing with since she thanked the lady and asked her to pray for her. So megan was cool about it. She is an actress in hollywood, where they requires certain certain activity from actresses to be naked, showing skin etc etc and they do it becauce they want the so call success but is that part of the purpose of God gor her thou?? God bless you megan an devon.

No she meant exactly what she said. Her tone was even condescending. "We gone cover up, right?" Now if she presented her question in the manner that you did, it would have been received in a more respectful way. She even said she wasn't gone come but she came anyway with that question in mind. So yes, she deserved the response she got. You can't attack someone and not expect a defenseful response.

Insulted his wife too. He was talking about physical beautiful, and although Sara is beautiful, come on now, she looks like her father. Megan felt very uncomfortable and so did her husband.
