The Waldenses have such a special place in my heart. They suffered terribly, but I know the Lord Jesus has not forgotten them or forsaken their legacy. I weep every time I learn about their great knowledge of the Word of God and their marvelous faith.

I did a Bible lands tour and this part of Italy was included. Saw the caves where the Waldlenses hid from their persecutors. Loved walking in the footsteps of the reformers and it strengthened my faith. Great episode. Thank you from Australia.

What happened to the followers of Columba on the island of Iona? They were true to the apostles teachings for a time. Did they cave into pressure from the Catholics as well.

Ja M thank you for that, but I did not find in that article specifically what ways the Waldensians compromised, particularly in terms of ways they agreed with extremes of the reformation but that were biblical compromises.
