The MDA Labor Day Telethon was an enchanting yearly variety show that ran for half a century. Hosted for many years by Jerry Lewis, the telethon featured top stars from the world of music, comedy, and Broadway and was like no other show on earth.

I've been requesting the following for a few years now and don't know if it'll ever happen at this point, but if you see this - if at all possible could you please share the following two Sammy Davis Jr. performances from the 1987 telethon: "And I Am Telling You", and "What Kind of Fool Am I?" The 1987 telethon was possibly the best singing Sammy ever did across his entire career, and all the performances from that telethon deserve sharing, but those two in particular show off just how strong his voice had become. The "What Kind of Fool Am I?" performance is also very special as it is very emotional and at the end of the song Sammy cries and says it's the best he'd ever sung it. Please, please, please consider posting these performances.
