That first minute and a few seconds really hit me in the feels. I started this show as a 10 year old back in 2010 thanks to my dad. He died in 2013, only managed to get through 3 seasons but it was our show. I was so excited on a Friday night, coming home from school after thinking about it all day, putting it on FX. Those memories i’ll cherish forever. Wish he was here to see how far it came and how good it got! Miss him tremendously.

I admit I hate that it ended on a cliffhanger, but the truth is even though it’s the end of The Walking Dead - the main show, it’s not the end for several of them: Daryl, Negan, Maggie, Rick and Michonne will all be returning next year in their own separate spin offs so I’d say that this cliffhanger is another reason to rope us in prepare us for them.

I do like that they indicate Michonne will find Rick, Rick will escape and reunite with RJ and Judith. With those last three shots. And in the sense, the story from season 1 finding a safe society is over. Now the world beyond surviving begins. (Even though the created a safe haven at end of Season 8 and rebooted with S9) but nevermind.

Sadly they are all getting their own spin-off shows, *Walking Dead:Dead City with Maggie & Negan* is out in April *Walking Dead:Rick & Michonne* spin off starts filming in January, expect it around October/November 2023. Lastly *Walking Dead with Daryl Dixon* won't be out until 2024

The death of Hershel, Abraham, Glenn,...etc...was one of the worst things I've ever seen on a show, personally I sen...... it really hurt to see her die.... We don't know much about what happened to him in the years since. But in Season 10, about 7 years after his departure (there was an immediate 6 year time skip after he left), Michonne found his stuff on that boat, realized that he was still alive and went looking for him. Judith finally told Daryl and Carol in the series finale about Michonne going after Rick specifically, so they know too now. But as for what happened to him in the years since??? Virtually unknown. All we know aside from this is that when Jadis traded him to the CRM (the Helicopter Group), she lied that he was a B. We still don't know what a B IS exactly, but the Walking Dead World Beyond reveals that the As end up as the CRM's Zombie Test Subjects. Jadis (who was a main bad guy in the second season of World Beyond) admitted that she lied about Rick being an A to spare him from that fate. She knew that she owed him that much even as Jadis used Rick to get a new life with the CRM.
