One note Rick actually starts to listen to his people Something that he doesn’t always do. This is much better than his storm the gates strategy Also this episode shows so much growth by Beth and brings her a sense of confidence and pride Go Beth.

Those walkers melted into the ground were from the bomb that went off in Atlanta during the flashback in Season 2 when Rick was still in his coma and Shane and Lori and the others were looking on in horror as the bombs were going off.

I actually liked when Maggie pointed the gun at Abraham. Of course I understand his devastation at finding out what drove him for so long was a lie, but lashing out at those around him was dangerous. The man’s built like a tank, he has to know that if he goes crazy that’s bad for everyone involved. It also showed that she already cares about this new group, being willing to take someone down for the sake of protecting Rosita, someone she just met. We know Abraham likely wouldn’t have hurt her, but Glen and Maggie didn’t. It also reminded me of that prison scene with Beth and Maggie, where they talked about the phrase their father used to say on the farm. “We all got jobs to do”. Whenever something stressful or heartbreaking happens to Maggie, she always busies herself with something else. She just delivered a baby resulting in her mothers death, she resolves to go out and find supplies for the baby to cope with feeling guilty. She comes back from being kidnapped and sexually assaulted, she becomes a sharper shooter and helps take down the Governor’s men. Her elderly father is helping a prison sector full of the sick, she keeps the prison running and goes in to save him against his wishes. She can’t find her sister and discovers she left the bus, she goes after the bus to find Glenn. Her method of coping with insane or intense situations is usually to be productive and put those emotions into work, so to me it made sense that SHE was the one to be the most pissed at Abraham for his reaction. Rather than use his emotions to redirect and be productive, he lashed out at the group. Of course it’s a normal reaction and we have the context of why it’s so heartbreaking for him, but I get that to Maggie, who was raised believing everyone has jobs to do and you don’t get to be upset, it was frustrating to witness.

''I was here.'' BETH is one of the most empathetic characters on this show for sure.

I really liked this arc mainly for Beth’s character development She shows strength that no one expected of her And you see a bit of a different side to Daryl standing up to Rick by siding with Tyreese’s plan He’s never really done that before and you have to wonder if his time with Beth changed his outlook (there’s still good people out there)

Yea I didn’t like the fact Maggie pointed the gun at Abraham. Rosita saw he didn’t want to be bothered like leave him alone 😂

If you were handcuffed and your group threatened with elimination wouldn’t you try to do what you could to get away I know I would lol I love Rick but thank goodness he listened to Tyreese and Daryl on this one They can’t go in guns blazing - everytime I liked this episode quite a lot It showed that Rick has flaws it showed how much confidence Daryl has to be willing to contradict Rick’s plan it showed Tyreese’s compassion for people he don’t even know it showed Beth’s underlying strength coming to the surface it at least showed that Gabriel doesn’t have anything under his sleeve but guilt and fear it showed Maggie and Glenn’s leadership qualities and it showed Rosita being more than just a hot pants and bootie call A lot of character development in this episode really enjoyed it.
