The closest she ever even got to that line of thought in the game was a dialogue options during the RV dream where she can ask Lee to say he won't leave her. Even then that was more so a "don't leave me" in terms of her memory of him. Clem's never shown any indication that she was mad at Lee for dying. She says to Luke, Carver, Bonnie, Javier, Marlon/Louis/Violet, AJ and probably a few others I'm forgetting that she completely blames herself for endangering Lee and getting him killed. She was thankful he gave his life to save her from a mistake she made.

Glad to see the community has gathered once again after four years since The Final Season to hate on this book, I'm proud to be part of those people and my sould belonged to this game since 2012. Sad to see what Skybound is capable to do for money, me and I guess a lot of the community never wanted for Clem's story to be milked that way, the Final Season was the perfect conclusion on her story. My biggest problem from what I've heard is how Clementine, with only one leg and stuck on crutches, abandons the community she worked so hard to maintain and earn her (and AJ's) place in, leaves AJ behind (when she would never do that), and goes from West Virginia to Vermont alone. Why? How? She's about the same speed as the walkers now, and she can hardly defend herself and move at the same time. Hell, she can hardly defend herself while stationary. How did she make it that far without a single scratch, without getting attacked by survivors, etc? But really, just why? Why so far? Why Vermont of all places? It's like the writer just teleported Clem out there for the sake of plot, without considering how unrealistic it is for Clem. How many days would it take to reach it on "foot" (ha, get it?)? With no one with her, how does she sleep/rest? What about supplies? She certainly didn't have enough to get to Vermont on her person, so she'd have to scavenge, right? One-legged, crutch-bound Clem can scavenge safely? Really? ... I want more TWDG content, but not like this. I can find fanfiction better than this.

A whole lot of things in this book I didn't know happened because I couldn't tell what was even going on from the drawings. Like in the part where they go to get the plane, I couldn't tell if the mother was alive or a walker. And Im still trying to figure out what happened to the people that Amos and Clem saved and brought on the carriage. The plot is confusing at times. This is a great honest review, can't agree more.

I like that the two new girls immediately killed Amos’s (clearly his beloved pet) horse and everyone immediately forgave them and joined their group without much of a second thought. If someone killed my horse, even if it was a “misunderstanding”, I’d kill them. Also, there were so many points in the comic book that I couldn’t understand what was happening until rereading several times. That carriage scene, the cave scene, the scene where Georgia dies. It was all so cluttered and hard to decipher in those scenes.

I think the biggest gripe here is that clem, as the player character, takes on the players traits in the games, which most people think of similarly, but the author clearly diverged into a very different viewpoint that they had on the character. What about the choice between Louis, Violet, and Tenn? What about Kenny vs Jane? Who did Clem go with? She has all 10 fingers. Did she stay in Wellington? Can we get a potential Kenny return? She mentioned him.

I was already annoyed by the reasoning for leaving the school, but the being pissed at Lee thing makes zero sense as well. I get why everyone loves Lee, but he didn’t know Clementine for that long. He did absolutely everything he could to protect her, teach her, and love her in the short time her knew her. Seasons 2-4 made it clear that Clementine is very grateful for what he did for her and the sacrifices he made, wishes he was around longer, and she has never shown to be angry with him.

I read this recently, I’ve been putting it off since it came out and I wish I never bothered, it goes against everything clementine stood for and made everyone who died for AJ meaningless, she didn’t keep her promise to AJ, she didn’t follow the first rule she gave him. She abandons whatever love interest she had at the school for a dumbass reason. Skybound and tillie Walden can pretend this is canon but it’s not. How dare they ruin such a beautiful ending to season 4…

No Way Clem would leave Aj... first of for all Aj in my opinion was Clems reason for living and look what she was willing to go through in season 3 to know where AJ was, then proceeded to walk into a fiery doom at the Ranch not even knowing if AJ was even there in first place, teaching Aj all those rules,tactics, and how to shoot a gun and everything and why leave AJ at the school right after finding out a new group of 15! People in a caravan arrived outside "Safezone" doesnt even f***ing make sense thats like telling a kid to go charging into the middle of gunfire so she can survive On another note her personality she isnt a asshole quite the oppisite honestly like dom said they are completely destroying who clem is, she would never disrespect lee, oh dont let me forget about how she got frustrated at Aj for saying she murdered Lee

HOLY- That intro has me fuckin crying, it's so perfect 😭🤣🤣 Poor Reggie. 19:40 apart of what's so frustrating about this book is how amazing it COUDLVE BEEN! Clems point about waiting for Lee and about being scared of growing old and not living day by day anymore is so interesting to me. It's a unique perceptive on a zombie apocalypse genre that I like, but it's surrounded by a dog shit plot that lowers the quality. Imagine she was having this talk with Louis, Vi, AJ, Amos, Asim, Omar (or anyone we've previously met) back at or near the school. It would have so much more impact imo. But instead she's telling it this rando girl who has a crush on her?? At first I was on the fence about a petition, but as I thought about it a petition might be for the best. We need to try everything we can to cancel those future books, the whole community would be grateful to have better content to look forward to than waiting on those books. If they wanted to continue Telltales story maybe Clem, AJ and the school setting could`ve been used for a new character's introduction (like they were from the group that was mentioned to have been spotted nearby at the end of the last game) for about a dozen pages, serving as a launching point/introduction of the new protagonist and their history before the new character moves on and goes on their own journey.

I understand the fact that the school thought Clem was a liability, must be hard to care for a person with just one leg in a zombie apocalypse (although Hershel could handle himself pretty well in the TV show, and so could Clem in the comics), still, what really destroyed my psyche was the fact thay Clem promised AJ when she rescued him from the ranch she would never leave him again, and that's exactly what she did, I'm heartbroken because of this.

you can tell a good and bad writer apart by the characters. If there are no dynamic characters (A.K.A. they change throughout the story) and there are only static characters then that writer does not know how to write characters. becouse it makes it obvious it was not a creative decission but rather a decision "idk how to do it so I wont"
