I wish Daryl shouted ''Are you not entertain'' lol I was thinking Daryl here in England for season 2 would be great, see how we are doing in The Walking Dead universe. But I'm happy to see carol back and I hope she finds him, they both go back to the US and years from now we get a The walking dead season 12 with everyone back! Daryl, Carol, Rick, Negan, Maggie and even Alicia from Fear.

Now, you know I was gonna have to comment on this one! LOL! Ralph I agree with you! #LetDarylGoHome There was a BTS documentary that aired on AMC after the finale. It's on youtube on TWD official channel. Norman talked about the cemetery scene with his grandfather's grave. He said Daryl wanted to break the cycle. He was desperate to return to his family in America to not tear his family apart as his grandfather did. But he wasn't going to leave Laurent to be devoured either. Several of us have discussed the themes of faith with this season. I think part of this journey will be that Daryl will find some faith. While I don't believe he will become devoutly religious, when he sees that Carol has come to find him and they are reunited, he will perhaps believe in a Higher power controlling everything. I really enjoyed this season a lot. Y'all should do a reaction to the Season 2 teaser! It's incredible.

Hey Ralph and Shomanda, great episode and a great season I truly enjoyed DD. When I first heard they was doing a Daryl spinoff I was skeptical bcuz Daryl didn’t talk he grunted and I was wondering how he’s gonna carry a show. But Norman and Daryl surprised me. This series was really good and enjoyed it more than opening scene got me bcuz I was like what’s this but on my second watch I realized it was his grandpa and him telling Izzy that his grandpa died in Paris made sense. I believe Codron will be on our side if he survives Genet and her torture, I think the Dr will too bcuz he looks scared of her. I think Codron after seeing how Daryl was willing to die for Izzy and them realized Daryl didn’t kill his brother. People needs to realize that Genet ain’t all that she’s just a female Negan surrounded by Yes men, all it’s takes is one person to start the downfall. Fallou for the MVP he was so smooth taking that rifle our doing his thing and putting it back and merged with the crowd 😂. R.I.P. Quinn you weren’t a bad guy just an asshole. I teared up when Daryl found his grandpa’s grave R.I.P. Willian T Dixon. The Nest had better get ready bcuz Genet is coming, they’re well fortified but they still need to be ready. Season 2 ought to be really good, I hope the communities we came across band together and take this evil woman out, I would like to see some variants rip her apart see how she likes it. At first I wasn’t too keen on the D day scene at the beginning, but when he gets to Normandy and finds grandpas grave I got it, thinking he had an epiphany moment realising grandpa didn’t just leave to go overseas and not return, but realised there’s a reason to go, having gotten close to Isabelle and Laurent and now having doubts about going home to the commonwealth. My only gripe was how they showed the cemetery as being undulating rough ground , I’ve been to that cemetery and paid my respects and believe me it’s flat as a billiard table. Of course it would be overgrown but at least dress up some flat ground for it. The actual beach and bunker scene was filmed at Utah beach where there is rough ground, but no cemetery. Again it’s only a small gripe coz I love the show regardless 😊and again it’s nice to see Daryl walking the same ground that I have 😊. Can’t wait for The book of Carol, the search for Pookie. 😅 The cemetery at Colleville ser mer is a truly humbling experience, on top of the bluffs above Omaha beach. 9388 graves

I agree that "Rick is back" would have been the first thing Carol said on the phone. This was my favorite episode. The scenery was awesome and it had the fewest F-bombs. Last year on Riding with Norman Reedus (AMC) Norman and Martha went to Scotland where her ancestors were from. She brushed up on her motorcycle skills so that she could ride with him, but the weather was so bad they had to travel by car. It was still a great episode though.

That beach that Daryl's grandfather was Normundy a WW2 battle was was disasterous, a horror. Check out the first part of "Saving Private Ryan" if you've never watched that historic scene of events. I need more Codron. Great villian, and he may not be what he seemed. I loved the entire S1. Bring on our Carol!. Great review!

I just thought of something. What if Daryl and Isabelle end up having a kid before he reunites with rick, and he names the kid : "Rick Merle Dixon" 😭🥹. Imagine how proud rick would feel once daryl introduced his son to him with that name 😭

Hi guys, been waiting to see your reaction to the finale. It was great. I enjoyed this spinoff more than any other. Few things took me back to TWD.. the watch reminded me of Glenn, the battle axe reminded me of Jerry, Daryl training them to shoot reminded me of when Shane was teaching the group to shoot.. few other things too. Just me missing TWD i guess. Oh to see Carol… Love love love. Not sure where that is going but it was exciting. Agree with Ralph though.. let Daryl go home! Was fun watching with you guys.. be back when you start SOA.

Love this series, and y’all’s reactions. I actually didn’t think Laurent was really there. Rather, I thought it was Daryl’s conscience messing with him. And, I’m with Ralph - Daryl has a woman at home #TeamConnie 😁. I like Isabelle, but she clearly picked up some manipulation skills from her time with Quinn lol. Guilting Daryl with any kind of comparison to how his dad did him was foul. See y’all next season!

@kimj5801 (Shamonda) That is a good point that it could've been his imagination seeing Laurent on the rock. But at the same time, these dang kids always pulling Uncle Daryl's heartstrings. He wants to get home to "his family" but he really has attached himself to Laurent (maybe the Daddy issues- they have in common), but he has connected with both Isabelle and Laurent. So we'll see in S2. We can't wait!
