You reacted pretty strongly to Isabelle possibly dying before it was a sure thing. So many surprising twists and turns in this episode! Carol in Isabelle out. I guess you can only have one leading lady at a time in the story and on the payroll. They just won’t let Daryl keep a love in his life. Maybe they end up putting Carol and Daryl together in the end. I liked his relationship with Connie most. This episode was awesome 👏🏽

I totally agree about the big death. Especially since it went right into Daryl and Carol joking around. I thought this would add a bunch of tension between the two of them as he is dealing with this huge loss, and she just doesn't understand. But, nope. He just kinda moves on" I hope we get to see him break down about this in the coming episodes (especially when seeing Laurent.) And that would make the situation better, and actually make sense as they're still in the middle of the action and the mission to find the boy. So they haven't had much of a chance to let the feelings set in. So... they can make it better, but i still wish they had waited to pull the trigger. Give her and Daryl more time together. That was the best part of the show. It's what made it different. Seeing Daryl open up in new ways with this woman. Let her and Carol exist together for a while, that is an interesting pairing. Carol could see a whole new side of Daryl. I worry we've sacrificed that just to give the fans "The Carol and Daryl Show" Its like Kevin Can Wait killing off his wife in season two just so they can have Leah Remini back and make it "King of Queens 2.0". And make the death more meaningful. She deserves so much more than to be some cliché motivational death for Daryl. And It's just slightly less dumb than Beth's death. At least Issa was hoping to protect Laurent. But still, a little scratch to the face for your own life? At least make it feel like she had no other choice in the moment and deal a bit more damage to him. Then structure the episode entirely different. It doesn't work well as the intro to this episode about meeting an old couple. And SO MANY extremely convenient moments. Carol's survival, the terrible shooting. Everyone running into the exact people they should at the right moments. It starts to make me laugh at a certain point. haha. 😜All that aside, i liked it quite a bit. I think season two is shaping up to be better than the first. The story is moving, things are happening. Almost every episode has something that feels big. The cinematography as well has been some of the franchise's best! Loving this show!! Fear had a lot of good stuff, but also a lot of bad. Daryl Dixon has pretty much been only good stuff. At this rate it will easily be my favorite spinoff (and it might even be already) The only problem is that it could easily lose its unique flavor with it just being Carol and Daryl moving forward.

I understand your thoughts and feeling when Isabell died, but I kinda liked it that way because it was out of nowhere. Yes she has been with Daryl from the beginning and usually they keep them around till the end of the season or give them a meaningful ending. I understand if you disagree with my opinion but that’s my opinion of this. Loved reactions keep it up!

The problem with Isabelle’s death is that it does something unique we rarely see in the walking dead. She was a main character killed off in the first 20 minutes of an episode. TWD typically kills off someone or reveals they’re gonna die towards the end of the episode; I think the cutting and editing of her death really did her injustice, I think the death is a bit lame, but it could have been so much better with more dramatic tension, the storytelling felt wrong for an episodic format, it felt like this season is supposed to be like one long movie they expect you to watch at once, yet they air it weekly??

This episode was geniunely so confusing and disappointing. I've been loving everything about this show since the beginning and up until this point, but this episode was such a nail in the coffin for me. I geniunely felt all my love and interest die in an instant as soon as they killed Isabelle like that. Her character grounded this show for me. The writing this episode felt so bizarre, and it really feels like they threw away a new and fresh character arc for Daryl and an immensely interesting character like Isabelle for the same old same old. Her character's death was so pointless, and it didn't need to happen. At this point, it would've been more of a plot twist if they kept her alive, which is really saying something.

To make it even worse I was at comic con and saw the first 14 minutes of the episode up until where Daryl and Carol reunited and when I watched the episode today five minutes later Isabelle was actually dead like for real real :/

It seems like the whole France story arc is coming to an end. Isabel's arc was complete so the death itself is not bad. I think I just have a craving for new main stay characters in the franchise. But it seems like everyone around is just there to serve the actual mainstay characters which are the OG's.

Not gonna lie, this was one of the most disappointing episodes in a long while for me. Like we built up Genet and her super walkers and then that whole attack is over in like 10 minutes and we're spending the rest of the episode with 2 random old people....really? You also killed Isabelle with like zero impact and then Genet (the big bad) in the same episode. I thought it was really poorly done and I'm losing faith in this universe. First CRM going down in one episode and now this along with the crappy other spinoffs like Fear, WB, and Tales. The ending of this season better be good or I'm done.

Dixon series has the best cinematography, music, and location but it lacks emotions and depths. Moving from scene to scene is awful. The 6 episode series clearly doesn’t work and they need to figure it out moving forward.

You missed the most important thing in the kitchen scene. Dede did not say that Daryl loves Isabelle. She said she sees these feelings between them, between Daryl and Carol. She had never seen Isabel😺

No shes talking about what Laurent told her about Daryl and Isabelle, she thinks Carol is Isabelle as they never correct the old couple and is talking about what Laurent told her, nothing in that was about Daryl and Carol, its how Carol learnt what Isabelle meant to Daryl.
