I think that at the end of chapter 5 the story will move forward to the Dead City timeline.

Chapter 5 ? You mean season 5 ? Cause we haven’t even got season 3 yet. For all we know they’re on a boat otw back to states in the season 3 finally. Which could open season 4 with Daryl getting back in touch with Rick. We won’t know for certain until season 3 drops in that regard.

I wonder if the latest spin off would be based on Laurent and Judith as well as RJ, Gracie, Hershel, Jerry's kids, etc, who would be the enemy. Because basically they would be young adults. And the OG's will make cameos. Like maybe they all try to continue to run Alexandria and all of the OG's are in the Commonwealth because they are older and its easier for them. That would be a great way to start off a next gen series to keep the world going.

Season 2 of Dead City was held up by the Writers/Actors strike. Daryl Dixon was not held up because it was written and filmed in Europe where there wasn't a atrike.

Never was a fan of Maggie. I actually wasn’t excited at all for Dead City when it was announced because it was a big “Here we go again.” Eye roller moment for me. Negan and Maggie had their feud, it ended in the main show with her saying she wasn’t going to forgive him but she was gonna try to move on. This shows plot just contradicts both Negan and Maggie’s character development in my opinion. The Daryl spinoff and TOWL are great. But Dead City doesn’t need another season. It’s honestly mediocre.

I think the show needs to become a show where they band back together and fight Negan as a team, like the Saviors round 2, so a new show with an ensemble cast/ an officially show reboot (Andy Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, JDM etc)or they just resolve the whole franchise at the end of Daryl getting home.
