In my opinion, every single location that was used in TWD should be declared tv history landmarks, because in 20 or even 30 years from now we can all look at these locations and take a moment to appreciate how these places have played a big part in television history.

It's Crazy Senoia was a dusty spot in the road before TWD and now it's thriving! They filmed in front of our office in Hampton back in the summer, we have blackened windows so we were able to watch it all fromj ust a few feet away!

Even though everything is gone I still want to visit. Is cutting through the woods from the south of the prison set a viable option? I was thinking either that or following the train tracks beside it in order to visit undetected. Fences be damned.

Yeah that’s Raleigh studios where it was all filmed for the prison and hilltop. But you can go to Senoia (aka Woodbury) and see the town of Senoia where Woodbury was filmed. Right across the railroad tracks you can see the set of Alexandria VA set. There are people that actually live on the set property there. Plus you can go down the street and see the safe house and pudding house. Also all over GA Atlanta, griffin, Hampton, fairburn, etc they have filmed. I only say all of that because they did use a lot of real standing filming locations that you can actually see up close and even walk on in GA.

We were just in Atlanta 4/13/14. we found many cool TWD film sites. I heard the prison was a movie lot and is being torn down now. Is the farm the same? Most people haven't been able to locate the farm. We were actually just there for a Braves game but googled film sites and discovered Terminus was only a few blocks away. Which led to a lot of driving around Sunday LOL Thanks for the video!

The farm is a private home, it is located down a long driveway so you cannot "see" it from the road. They have removed the prison exterior however if you look at google earth, you can see the towers and how it all lays out to the existing studio buildings.

hey, we had a friend Chris Thompson, who was a Walker in the show he was actually featured in the Fighting Arena with Merle and Daryl", anyway he was able to have a friend fly him over and took arial photographs of "Woodbury" and the "Prison before it was all torn down!! We sell them in 8 x 10 form at our store The Georgia Mercantile in Senoia if anyone is interested!

The farm is directly across the street from the prison/studio but way down this road. It's quite in and private and the family has a sign up saying no trespassing. (Saw pictures awhile ago) Wish we could go and see it :( lol check out www.walkingdeadlocations.com They pin almost every scene from every season/episode on google map..that's what we're using when we fly down to Senoia in June. We hope they'll be filming the beginning of June too! :-)

Hey y'all, also would love to let you know if you come into Senoia, check out our little shop the Georgia Mercantile (you can also find us on facebook) we have many local inspired TWD things as well as maps/DIY Tour flip book, and we are now doing of the entire downtown district where they filmed most of Season 3 and some of Season 4 episodes a Walking tour, we take u on a 2+mile walk and its a little over 2 hours! its been a great sucess! and u can find that facebook page as well its called Senoia on the big screen wallking tours, we call it that because not only do we share info on TWD sites but as well as other movies/tv shows that have been filmed in the area and some background and history of the Town itself! so perhaps its something you would like to plan! Anyways, yes S5 filming is set to begin May 5 is what we are hearing in town! very excited to their return! its always fun when filming season begins! oh and LOVE the video as well!!!

cool vid! Good idea with the drone view. The only thing left on the prison set is the bus (for some reason) and the gravel path that was between the two fences. But one thing I wonder is why would they have to tear down the fences? Were they hurting something back there in that field? I wasn't aware all the locations were so close to each other, smart move on their part, they don't have to move equipment long distances driving up cost.

Ultra Violet1197 No..The prison set is a movie studio. It's Raleigh Studios. They just had set designers build guard towers and fences and all that. They tore it down afterwards because there was no use in keeping it up anymore. They left the prison set..it's gone.

No Towers in Senoia. When i was there, they had only the Town Hall building there. The freight cars on the rails stood there too and near the rails was the "storage area" for the cars and the "Woodbury" roadblock. It was not possible to come close to the Raleigh Studios. Couldn´t see anything there.

The entire area is fenced off. You can only see the back parking lot, Hershel's farm is also Restricted area. That's why we decided to fly over so you can all see what it looks like!

You can easily look at google earth for the locations. The prison is named "west georgia correctional facility". And the location of the farm is: 33°18'01"N 84°31'22"W u Unfortunately the Farm cannot be visited. But copy them and you'll find the locations.
