It downright pissed me off so much how lazy the writers were in killing Nick during this episode. Nick was honestly a golden character in Season 2 with so much potential and so well written, but then they downplay his character in Episode 3, then give him the axe almost immediately in Episode 4. His death lacked what other deaths in The Walking Dead normally had: Closure and a satisfaction. Carley/Doug in the Pharmacy? One had to be chosen and you have the option to dwell on it with the survivor. Ben in Episode 5? Kenny showed that he cared about him and forgave him enough to try and get him out his worst nightmare, and you really feel the loss. Hell, even Ed and Diana, who were never really shown until they were undead, you felt sad there because Clementine's one goal throughout the whole game has come crashing down on her. I was expecting Nick to die in a more valiant way, or maybe to reflect back on some of the moments he had with Pete or Clementine. Just... Telltale Games, why in the hell did this episode feel so damn rushed?

I know I’m 6 years late to this comment but this is the exact reason why season 2 was such a wasted season. The characters, the development, and storyline were amazing, yet the choices literally meant nothing. Despite what you do, you will always get the same outcome. The only reason season 1 got away with this is because the choices weren’t big things like the death of a character (except duck but that is different cause it would have happened anyways). I’m surprised telltale didn’t learn from that and honestly this season could have been better than the first one if your choices truly mattered.

And I actually felt more mad the more the Seasons went on because of the mistakes that get made THERE. It feels like it can all be traced back to Season 2. A long time ago I actually made a chart-thingy reconstructing how Episode 4 could have been so much better; It's REALLY long so if you're not interested in reading it you can just stop reading at this point: One of the plot changes is that Nick doesn't die, but once Clem and Jane save Luke, Sarah (and Sarah does NOT die, no matter what), and Nick, it's revealed as they're walking back that Nick was bitten back in the trailer park. Jane argues that they should kill him there or leave him behind while Luke angrily refuses and insists that they take Nick back with them. Nick is slowly succumbing to the infection throughout the episode (with several conversations to Clementine about how he is meeting the same fate that his mother and Pete met, and if Pete was the one saved in Episode 1 how his last moments went) and by the time Rebecca's giving birth and Sarah falls down on the porch area, Nick uses his last strength to jump down and hoist the debris up while Sarah is pulled back up to safety. As Nick doesn't have any more energy to climb back up to the gang (and a panicking Luke), either Clementine or Sarah (Who in the episode Clem cuts her hair the way Lee cut hers and helps her practice how to shoot) shoot him in the head to save him the tragedy of being torn apart by walkers. I feel it's a more impactful way for him to die, and more respectful to his character.

Kenny reminds me of Naked Snake. He starts out as a dedicated father and husband(Snake started as a CIA agent for the US) then loses them after fighting so hard to save them (Snake loses his Sokolov and The Boss to defection). Then Kenny finally finds another love (Snake fell in love with EVA during operation Snake Eater) and eventually reunites with Clemmy and fights for a group again. Then Kenny fights a psychotic tyrant and loses an eye (exactly like Snake). Then Kenny watches his love die and slowly begins to turn into a mad man like motha fu*%in BIG BOSS! Clemmy is Ocelot (you never know who's side she's on since the player decides her words and actions) and Lee is the Sorrow. "Kenny, try to remember the basics of CQC."

Personally to Sarah, I saved her in that trailer, we don't leave anyone. We should care for our group and do anything to save them, also by going through corpses of our enemies. I feel like they are too spread out now. With all the new series they are pumping out, I can see how rushed they are to meet deadlines and such. I don't think the Wolf Among Us writing was terrible, but it felt really rushed and underdeveloped, but still had potential.

For the people who think it was wrong to let Sarah die let me tell you this. For starters, yes it was wrong but when in a situation of life or death, sometimes you'll have to make decisions that which you'll hate yourself for it. Considering also that she was a nerve wreck at that point she was a huge liability, she can't and wouldn't handle any more of the hardships ahead and thus slow and put everyone at risk. Clem was prepared by Lee through a slow process until they met the bum that told Lee to teach her how to survive and both Lee and Clem weren't reluctant about it. To return to my original point, it was mercy toward Sarah to die, she could have been made to be ready for this world but her father hid her from it because he believed everything would go back to normal one day and that is a fool's dream. Though I must admit it could have been a quicker death. Personally I would have shot her although I'd hate myself for it, at least it's quick.

Honestly, thank god Sarah's gone, didn't like her character as much as I should have, always being a hassle to everyone around her, but I guess either way, she was going to die anyway. Great play through though!
