That speech with Rick and Negan was absolutely beautiful! The voice acting was superb and Rick's final line "Good" gave me goosebumps!! Can't wait until the final part of All Our War!!

I always loved Rick's speech here. It feels so natural and that he really believes in it. In the comics Rick always had two goals in his mind; keeping his family, especially Carl safe and re-establishing society.

I think like Negan we as readers all get drawn in to what Rick is saying. But definitely the ending you expected Negan to pull the knife not Rick. But it was as Rick said at the start of his speech “A world without Negan” Ultimately his actions to go for Negan here are justified for the world Rick wants to create

I feel like this issue shows me the fundamental difference between Rick and Negan in the comics vs Rick and Negan in the show. In the comics, Rick and Negan have a vision for the future and aspire to build the world the way it used to be. In the TV show however, I see the difference. At first glance it seems like the TV characters are fighting for the same thing, but it's for a vision they don't really believe in since they're trying to honor the memory of who they cared for. For Rick it was to make the better world Carl dreamed of, for Negan it was to unite people the way Lucille wanted.

That music that played during Rick’s speech to Negan was so good… so fitting, from start to finish. It’s almost as if it was composed specially for this video. Where’d you get it?

Epidemic Sound! It's an unreal website. I had to play around with it a lot though when I was editing that scene so it can build up and make it more impactful. It was difficult to get right but I'm delighted with the final result!
