Season 2 in general is pretty underrated looking at the episode list it has some of the best episodes in shows history in beside the dying fire, 18 miles out, better Angels, what lies ahead, and pretty much dead already and underrated episodes in like save the last one, judge jury executioner, trigger finger, 2nd season was dragged on a farm due to the budget but season 2 had some great episodes

7x13 “Bury Me Here” the transformation from peaceful Morgan to crazy Morgan after what happened to Benjamin. Morgan turned his back on his oath to never kill again by strangling Richard to death. It came full circle from 3x12 "Clear" when he descended into madness

IMO the most underrated and forgotten episode in the series is "beside the dying fire" that was just a perfect ending to the farm story and a great start to the prison and can't forget the debut of Michonne!!

Season 4/5 is the same for me for the same reason. I stopped watching the show around Season 8 but I remember watching every single one of Trev's videos during that time and I was just really really into the show, so it brings back a lot of nostalgia.

Save The Last One was the episode I call most underrated. It was the epsiode where we really see Jon Bernthal shine. We knew we were in for something special. 18 miles out I do agree is one of the best episodes of all time

The Same Boat is one of my most favorites in Season 6, never gets the recognition it deserves. It's one of my favorite episodes for Maggie AND Carol. They were just so badass, Maggie smashing the womans head and Carol lighting up the whole room of Saviors. Perfect.

Walking Dead, the show, is overall extremely underrated show, despite its popularity. The hate that it receives, despite some deserved negative constructive critizism, is undeserved and part of a simple stupid hate bandwagon.

Those first few seasons were so great. They had a much different feel and vibe to them than later seasons.

Season 7 is just a case of having WAY to many solo episodes where we follow 1 character or location. The Season as a whole needed to get cut by like a few episodes, maybe combine Oceanside and the Junkyard group. Mixing up the episodes so we at least see 2 locations would be really beneficial. As it goes, you have to wait a a or 2 or more till you finally see the people you care about.

Most underrated episode in my opinion is 9x03 Warning Signs. Most people was so hyped about Rick leaving they did'nt pay much attention to this absolute gem of an episode. Rick was trying so hard to keep the communities together, blinded by thoughts of unity and don't see the huge conflicts brewing with the Saviors and everyone else. Oceanside was plucking off Saviors one by one. The last scene where Daryl and Maggie turns away in disgust when they learn what Arat had done, and just let the Oceansiders kill her was the best damn acting I have ever seen on TWD

I agree that Prey was an underrated episode, it made the governor an awesome villain because everyone wanted Andrea to get back to the group. I think e10 in s3 “Home” is one of the most underrated in s3. Four Walls in a Roof definitely underrated too

Rick Kirkman actually said he regrets the CDC S1 Finale episode - but in my opinion this was an essential episode in showcasing just how fucked up the world was with Jenner revealing how the virus affected other countries, and how there is NO cure. It was the only SCI-FI episode we got and for me demonstrated why I wish Frank Darabot carried on with the series. The S1 Finale focused on the actual virus itself, and whilst the Walking Dead still had epic moments post S1 and Franks departure, it got almost too carried away in focusing too much on wars amongst people leaving the audience with no REAL conclusion of where the story is heading. The result? Half the cast either gets killed off or chooses to leave e.g. Main character Rick, or Michonne, or Maggie. For me this was the biggest issue with TWD universe, there was no real overall story and the audience just got tired of reliving the same shit each season. We want a conclusion. Didn't help that Scott the dick Gimple killed of Carl too. Thankfully, Angela Kang has in my opinion pulled off a masterpiece in reviving the show with all things considered. She's had to work with scraps (e.g. Andrew Lincoln & main other main casts leaving) - yet has overdelivered. But to end my long ass comment, I really hope the Rick Grimes movies focus back on the virus itself so we can see some kind of conclusion.

Tara's episode was pretty funny, she's a fun character and has this "taking things light" attitude, unlike some other pretty dire characters. Wich are also good, so it's nice to have some different contrast around. I remember what caught my attention was discovering at some point that she was being taking a captive by a clan of only females. And that was hilarious, since Tara is a gay character and a whole "Lesbian being caught by a tribe of amazons" metaphor was being presented. Especially when the elder clans leader asked if she liked fish and her response was "Eh, the dried kind?" That probably went over alot of people's heads, wich is understandable, because not every viewer can relate to a gay female so yeah eventhough, it was alot of fun having those kind of metaphors presented, i just love that kind of stuff, it really adds a level on entertainment to storytelling when done right, and it was written very subtle so. And there are alot more of those situations happening that probably went over people's heads..... Remember when Tara, Gabriel and Jesus were sitting in a car when the team went to kill Saviors at that outpost? Tara opens up to Gabriel, making a confession. So you enter the whole "person making a confession to a priest" metaphor..... and guess who was a witness to it, Lol! Jesus was sitting on the backseat. :D How awesome is that. Or when Gabriel and Spencer had that drive together, wich was setting Spencer up to betray Rick. They had to make sure to paint Spencer really bad, so to make his death by Negan somewhat more "justified" And guess what happens...... Even the priest ran away from him. Lol! Talk about foreshadowing. Or the time when Rick was fighting that gladiator walker. ;) Rick picked up a keyboard and tried to smash the walker with it.... but yeah, it didn't really have the desired effect.... Gjeez wonder what kind of metaphor that was. loool

the first 4 seasons is the best, with season 5 premiere on top. The most underrated episode is hard for me to find 😅 I can only say witch episodes I think is the best one and that's The Governor's episodes with the old prison times. Merle is also outstanding. No TWD without him. Same goes to Shane. Herschel...💜💜💜💜 The best TV-show ever. But I hear The Kingdom is even better. You just have to have to be patient with it at the start, they say.
