Honestly I started watching after season 8 came out. Idk, I binge watched it and it seemed like everything kept moving along. I guess if you mean the consistent conflict is repetitive then yea but the antagonist is different each time, the governor was just crazy, cannibals we’re hungry, claimers we’re horny, negan is all of the above and the whisperers pretend to be zombies. I feel like the tv show fucked up by losing Carl and Rick but before that point it was probably my favorite show.
