I wasn't feelin Rick during all this, but he isn't technically becoming Shane in a final kinda way. This is his PTSD and it's manifesting in a fucked up way. Which is behavior like Shane. But Shane seemed to have it in him and wasn't just traumatized (for one, Rick's been out there longer and has more of a sense of responsibility). Shane's philosophy gels with this kind of behavior. Rick's philosophy is out of whack because he's so messed up. Sasha's PTSD is just more recognizable.

Rob is wrong, as he usually is at least majority of the time. Sometimes he's right. But a kid follows someone, they're still just a kid. Why you trying to traumatize a kid especially with something that could be very real and true? It's a KID. Spaz on the parent for the kid following them. The kid is a kid. And she didn't educate him. She basically threatened his LIFE in an evil manner. She did what she thought was strategically right, but what if it causes MORE problems in the future? Axxidous it does make sense in her situation to say that to the kid, because remember this isn’t the old world anymore the kid could very easily die outside of the safety of the walls, so scaring him out of following her is the quickest way to install that fear in him of the dangers of the outside any kid who doesn’t understand this is destined to die in this new world.
