At 2:25 it's amazing. Scary and sad too. Because it really feels like we're entering a new era of the show. No turning back. We can't go back to simpler times at Dale's RV, Hershel's farm, the prison, or even Alexandria as it was when we got there. The shot of the group on the porch was so ominous. Once they step off of it, they're heading into a whole new world. Into the unknown. Into the world of Negan. Geez. Scene gives me chills.

This has gotta be one of my favorite episodes in the entire series. It's the entire gang fighting the walkers this time. Every single scene in this episode was so awesome. From Rick taking on the walkers alone to Abraham, Daryl, and Sasha coming to the rescue for Glen.

To me this was one of the most disturbing episodes, not only the death of Deanna, the Anderson family, Carl getting shot in the eye, the walker flood into Alexandria, but especially various forms of this melody were played throughout the show, making the episode very powerful. This episode is so exceptionally underrated. Sure I was pissed as the clock ran out. Mid-season cliffhanger, deal with it. We got paid back in spades the following Feb. And this is a Top 3 Bear McCreary TWD score for me... also loved the closing one from 6.13, The Same Boat, even w/ some similarities in formula/motif/structure. The one closing out 5.08 and the one closing out 7.08 (wow!) are my other Bear TWD faves (I guess I lump 6.08 & 6.13 together as they are reminiscent of one another )
