I think all of us had people telling us to suck it up when we released our reaction videos, saying stupid crap like "oh its fictional get over it you idiots!" But that's what makes us human, we're allowed to cry and break down, so when those people are telling us to suck it up, they need to remember when the last time was that they were emotionally invested in something. Like if someones crying over a fictional character, there's a reason for that, theres a connection that's present. And I can speak on behalf of all of us that, Glenn was a devastating loss, because he was there from the start, and he went from the awkward pizza boy into a f***ing man, the badass husband of the apocalypse. Even after his whole world fell apart and he lost his old life, he managed to obtain probably the happiest life anyone ever could in that kind of a world. We'll always miss you you beautiful Korean, RIP. And I agree, the makeup department deserve all of the awards possible for making that moment so graphic and realistic. It was literally ripped directly from the pages of the original comic book. I was disgusted but at the same time, absolutely impressed by what they had accomplished. Believe it or not, his actor Steven Yeun read his death in the comics and he basically told the showrunners and Robert, "don't you f-ing dare give this to anyone else on the show, because that was way too iconic to just give another character."

If it's any consolation, this was the most-traumatic episode so far. Seriously, there are tons of reaction videos out there of people screaming and crying their eyes out like crazy. The show did get into trouble a bit as the beatings were so graphic, which is kinda weird when you consider they do that to Walkers in almost every episode. What always makes me cry is while Negan's beating Glenn, they cut to Eugene and he is just sobbing like a little kid. There is an extended version of the end fantasy sequence out there, which makes it even more emotional. Anyway, at least you've done this episode now and can breathe. Sadly, nothing will ever be the same again. Once again, the show proves absolutely no-one is safe, even someone like Glenn who's been in it since episode 1.
