And no other reactor has said anything about it. Like the writers definitely emphasized that moment for that reason because some may have forgot or whatever. It was a cute thing

The fact the she made terrible things to the characters but still didnt come off as unidimensional and was actually worth of empathy shows how good of a character she is, when she appeared in world beyond she elevated the quality so much, the same for this show. Also kudos to the actress, excellent job. I actually felt for her.

Jadis said her names was "Jadis Stokes" funny cause Father Gabriel full name is Gabriel Stokes...Jadis lasted through 3 series, The Walking Dead, World Beyond and The One Who Live.. She had a nice goodbye for her villain ark and I love a good villain. Side notes:When Rick and Michonne share that whiskey Rick poured her glass first (its the little things). Then Jadis caught them in the hotel room and they jumped out of the bed. While Jadis and Michonne were talking, Rick was in the background "checking out Michonne ASS" in those boxer shorts.. Rick was thinking, "we might die here so let me get one last peek." lol

They only said in interviews before airing episode 1 there would be an appearance of a TWD universe character, no name or hint. There have been many good predictions but Gabe was not on that list. However he is a logical choice having the strongest connection to Jadis in TWD 😊

Maybe just... maim first.” and your somewhat incredulous response, “Maybe just maim first!?” I say to that. “Well, Jess, in my experience, in the Walking Dead universe, giving your beloved wife the green light to maim a sworn enemy is a pathway to many romantic gestures some consider to be unnatural.”

Real torn about losing Jadis, one of the most complex characters we’ve had thus far & I wish we got some more of her buuut I’m glad she got her redemption at the end 🙏🏻

Your thoughts on Jadis as a character reflect mine as well. She was very fascinating, and turned out to be more complex as time went by. I think Anne created Jadis to separate herself from her brutal actions. But at least in her final moments, she was Anne.

Even after all Jadis has done I liked her. Even after Huck, Genocid of Omaha, took Rick away from his life.....I am kind of sad that she is dead. In the end Anne was in her the whole time. She realized the truth in her last moments.

The start of the ep gave me good old days vibes from the early seasons.. I feel so bad for Gabriel at the end. Ultimately a classic walking dead end for Jadis. Only one ep left tho I hope a second season comes..

No, Gabriel wasn't announced in advance, but it was spoiled by Entertainment Weekly in an impossible to avoid spoiler headline immediately after the show aired, so I was spoiled anyway.

I can’t remember who it was, but someone mentioned that they think it’s leading up to all the spinoffs (or at least two) crossing over and what would make the most sense to me is Daryl Dixon being where it all happens because we already know it’s getting a second season and I’m not sure that the ones who live is (I hope it does, but it hasn’t been released that it was renewed) so at this moment point unless the finale for TOWL is like 3 hours then I doubt it’ll happen, I’m not trying to be negative (trust me, I wanna see the reunion, so bad!) but I don’t see it happening in the finale.

I was rooting SO MUCH for Jadis/Anne this entire episode…she spoke the absolute truth while Michonne’s egotistical ass kept holding onto “we can kill whoever we want and no one can stop us” BS….so glad all that got shut down NO exceptions and now her and Rick are forced to do what they should have done all along…🤨
