I AM HOOKED!!! I have been so worried that the hype and waiting for this day wouldn't be worth it but it was. The shots, the music, the story, the characters! It all fits so well. I went back and watched the very first TWD episode right before this first episode and it was just as intriguing as pulled me in. I'm invested till the end now.

Rick and Michonne meeting in the first episode was great, I didn't think they would meet till episode 3 or 4. Great start to the show.

That was incredible! Very hard to see Rick suffer and cut his own hand off. I was screaming no Rick dont do it! His hand is like a call back to Merle, the woman a call back to the Reapers, the building a call back to World Beyond, and the soldier he was tethered to was the size of Silas when we saw him last. The only thing i didnt like was that Rick gave up, because Rick Grimes never gives up! He is going to take over the CRM with the help of Michonne, Jadis and Silas. Jadis acting like a bad guy but i think that will change. I think this is the new beginning of a walking dead re-boot! Because 6 episodes isnt enough everyone will want more.cant wait to see how many people watched the new show. I watch it on AMC + at 3am Georgia time, but re-watched on reg AMC so it would be in the ratings. Definitely worth the wait! I was worried when Michonne backed away from him, is it shock, is she scared he's really CRM???? I wanted her to jump on top of him and kiss him. Now he pushed on his transponder so theyknow where he is, so hes going to have to act like he rescued Michonne so he can take her to the CRM. I love it!

when Rick talked about the CRM and their secrets and ranking. He mentioned "the one in the red stripes" who do stuff that even the Highest ranking officers dont know about. IS this implied top be the crew from the World beyond run by Kubrek? This team seemed to imply they had decided to wipe out Omaha because of their "algorithm" that deemed the CRC to be an inevitable failure. I have not seen anyone mention these things in KZbin breakdowns. Someone please discuss this with me.

I have some hopes for this show. It connects better with the main TWD story compared to the other shows that's recently have been released. I want to see more of the city and all that. Tbh I was about to stop watching TWD because it felt somewhat old but this episode lit the fire again. It was even nice to Rick despite I haven't missed him at all since he "died".

Really good episode. I'm not sold on the fact that Rick would consider ending his own life, tho. Michonne really had that samurai look down with that helmet. I hope we see her with "zombie pets" again, tho. And what the heck was that she shot Okafor with? An exploding rocket set with a delay? I think she uses it in episode 2 also.

It was good. Not what i would have done.... I want the Rick story, Gimple does a lot of shit in reverse... the arm i get but he knew better, he wasnt getting outta there. Oakafore did the same as Jennifer (huck), he helped organize the settlement, he wouldnt have took out Omaha i dont think, hes not sure about the red troops, just that they are bad. Oakfore was also the resistance leader, and hadnt yet told Rick that CRM had done Omaha....so will they find out.... the reunion was just meh i expected more..... (Its better later)🤐...
