This was their best album. The odd sounding piano made the difference. The Walkmen were a difficult band to figure out. So noisy at times they should have been considered noise or krautrock but I guess post punk is fine. Going to see them live in a couple weeks. Hope they sound good live.

Hold on, let me try to figure this out. I wake up, and it's different somehow. I realize there are people missing. After thinking about it, i realize that the people who are missing all share a peculiar quality: they all pretended that they like me. But now they are nowhere to be found. Am i mad? Who is around me now? Those around me now, some could obviously care less about me. That doesn't bother me at all! Why should everyone care about me? Some people come up to me seeming to care, but I don't know, so I press them for answers. It turns out they do actually care! And those who used to lie to me are gone, nowhere to be found. Am I mad? I can't find any anger. I think im ok with this newfound scenario...
