What a great, simple, pessimistic quote that really shows how much more intense the character has become. I really felt that bc there's a part of me that deeply identifies with that. OK there needs to be a movie made about the Wallaby Kid. Including such characters as Jack Kettleman because he has a very distinct voice. I think it could make a pretty sweet western story about the descent into depravity, where the weight of a human life fades and the stakes just keep getting higher.
