With you continuously telling these stories the picture becomes more and more crystal clear. The imagination and emotions become one with your stories almost like I'm in that position and I most definitely can conclude I absolutely want no part of that. So unc Banky, thank you for revisiting your trauma just so that we can get educated. And I hope you find the time to fully heal from your past.

My dad told me of a couple of his experiences in this place he said the guards would purposely set up fights in the cages to gamble and noone had a choice in some situations and then they shoot at them for fighting 😒 he said animals were treated better I never realized the mental trauma he really suffered as a young man
@funkymonkyjoe92074 ай бұрын
Your dads a liar unless that was years and years before me, half of this shit is a lie unless everything changed when I started working there, the only thing that rly I can say is true is the fact that a lot of people are racist but using the n word will get you fired immediately so they don’t show it in that way, there’s such a strict set of policy for the COs and everytime an incident happens an investigator comes in and watches the cameras to make sure that CO didn’t violate policy because if they did they will get a lawsuit and the state doesn’t want that. Also there are absolutely no guns inside the institution whatsoever no lethal guns at least only outside

The road to spiritual growth remains long and ever-changing, especially when it comes to the subtle ways we tend to learn, forgive, or select in the ebb and flow of life. But the experiences already lived and those years that seem to accumulate give us wisdom. I wish you a wonderful life ahead and remember that one more year of life is just additional empowerment that embraces us with the power and determination that will inspire us to do better while becoming it.🥊🥊🥊🥊🥊

Another great video in the books. Banky I salute you O.G. After hearing your stories, Jay Williams, my homie from VA that did time in there, and that Up the ridge documentary, you did absolutely right calling this place exactly what it is a "Plantation". The whole prison system is derived from slavery of Black people. The badges were once slave patrol badges. Especially how you said the gang members would pick and choose who to mess with instead of the real oppressors the guards. Just like slavery. You's free now my brother. Keep giving us them jewels and life lessons and I will keep applying them to my life. TBP salute 🥊🥊💯💯💪💪
@xyere49842 жыл бұрын
@Tehuti_The_Rebel the 13th amendment clearly states that slavery is not abolished but reinstated for those who are imprisoned for certain crimes. So, it is slavery and you absolutely correct. When slavery was supposedly ended the government created vagrantcy laws. A vagrant is an unemployed person. The slaves were freed without any funds or land. They were arrested and made prisoners and leased by the government to the same slave owners. Angola plantation became Angola Prison now Louisiana State Prison. Slavery was reinvoked by having a prisoner sign his name to someone who owed a fine and this allowed slavery to continue into the 1950's. America's wealth was created by the exploitation of it's citizens. This blueprint continues for Corporations of America. It is not by accident that the term "plant" is used to describe a place of work ie. the oil plant,the auto plant, the paint plant. Your comment is well taken.

Has anything been done to stop this corruption at Wallen Ridge Banky?
@michellesweightlossjourney65992 жыл бұрын
LOL!! That's a corrupt devil that no one will fight & win. Here's why I say that......you have too many investors involved with keeping them open. We can pass more laws but people have to be involved with their local Delegates & Senators and show up at the General Sessions to get them passed. Other than that....we've made some headway but the people at the top protect these people so I see no end to it. If we get an oversight bill passed it will improve, but they are more corrupt than the prisoners they house.

They already know what's going on. The problem with "us" black folks....is we see the problem but don't attack it at the root. News stories don't change laws......they can inform the public but that's it. We have to join together with the grassroots organizations and local Delegates & Senators to get laws passed during the General Assembly. Laws at passed every year but most people don't know where the real work is being done.....we still marching and marching doesn't change laws. Ya know? We gotta get to work. The beauty of covid is you can speak at the General Session at home on Zoom if you support or object a bill.
