Pretty impressive that you guys dived this deep without much training. Swimming underwater in the pool helps managing your oxygen consumption but free diving is a different beast. Like Jon mentioned it's easy to panic when you go up and feel the pressure in your chest of having to take a breath.

Nah it's the same, they've had a lot of practice over the last couple of years. The pool where they do their daily diving is also salt water, so it's similar to the ocean.

Not a single meter of beach is free to visit and the food is in most places really not as good as you might think.
