The "rabit is starving" phrase propably means the fact Susan didn't instantly died in the suit, but maybe somehow lived long enough to actually starve to death or more likely long enough to feel hunger before she actually died.

To me, the "rabbit is starving" part is Susan's struggle to get out of the suit. It starts out with some coherent ideas like "it needs to get the owner's attention", meaning Susan probably tried to get someone to come help her, but as time went on and hunger/desperation set in, her mind just degraded to a nonstop loop of "the rabbit is starving."

The song that plays at 4:46 is the lacrimosa section of Mozart's Requiem in D Minor. A requiem or requiem mass is a Catholic ceremony associated with laying the souls of the dead to rest, and Mozart died while composing this requiem, with the beginning of this specific section being the last thing he ever wrote. I believe the bars that play here are seconds away from where his part of the composition ends and another composer takes over posthumously. Its inclusion feels almost ironic--it's heralding the "death" of someone who, instead of being laid to rest, is trapped in artificially-induced eternal torment. To me the rabbits in the background contrast Susan/Banny; they are supposed to be similar in theory, but one is still a part of nature, while the other has been ripped torturously from it and contorted into something halfway between living and dying, forever. This song feels like it's mourning not just a loss of life but of death, of nature, and of an ecosystem shared between species that she is now irreparably shut off from. Idk maybe I'm reading too much into it, but this moment impacted me emotionally in a way I couldn't quite explain and needed to look more into. I'd love to hear if anyone knows where the background footage is from.

that's my biggest problem with this tape. the entire time she was in the backrooms she was scared shitless. when she saw the clown, she said she was never getting near it, and then suddenly when she saw a tape labeled "discard" her entire character changes. suddenly, she was willing to walk up to the same clown she said she was never getting near so she could insert a tape labeled "discard" into its torso. It feels like she only did that so she could die and it could become more scary. I also don't like it how it decides to brutally molests my ears every time it tries to get "scary". like bruh, the scariest parts of the tape was when it wasn't loud. every time it gets loud it just causes momentary panic. Keep in mind that I still love this series. This is just what I like the least out of this whole thing

16:38 I think that this scene is supposed to show the emotions of Ashley and her thoughts. Look at the black figures of Kevin and Hilary. They were blacked out either because Ashley thought that they didn’t come to help when she shouted and abandoned her or that they weren’t present during her death. The also sad look on Ashley’s face at the start of this scene shows how she currently feels or possibly how she feels about being abandoned after what changing to the more bloody and torn face as Bon dismembers her while she’s still alive.
