The Walther WA2000 is perhaps the most famous, least produced gun ever made. Its futuristic design is instantly recognizable in the James Bond film "The Living Daylights" as well as appearances in the video game franchises Call of Duty and Rainbow Six.
Born out of tragedy, its high cost and limited buyers sealed the fate of the over-performing sniper rifle. But like most high-performance machines, this dream gun still commands respect and a healthy dose of envy.

Thanks for that great video and I hope you have found a happy customer for this beauty. Only one, but important sight note: everybody repead the wrong amount of WA2000 ever build by the German Company Carl Walther. Earl J. Sheehan Jr. told the world about 176 piece, but it was 177 build. 82 of the first version, 75 of the second version, like yours in the video. That´s 157 of produced rifles with serial number. Plus 20 pre-series piece with V- number, often use for test and picutes in magazin and books. That´s the way the internet work. One source of a very rare fact will stays forever. Best regards from Germany Stefan

That is a serious piece of kit. Why did Walther go with the wooden parts? Was it the last gasp of a designer that refused to go full tacticool no matter what?
