I was married 48 years, my husband died last year, I miss him, Husbands love your wives and wives love your husbands, the key to a good marriage that worked for us, my husband always said he loves me constantly, and me too back and we always tried to make each other happy, yes, we had our arguments through the years, but we worked out our problems together. Never take your spouse for granted, we do not know what is tomorrow, enjoy today and everyday. Love never Fails.

I’ve just recently divorced after an almost 45 yr marriage. I didn’t know what a narcissist was. I didn’t know that a man who claims the name of Christ, attended Seminary, was in full time ministry for many many years, could look at his wife and lie about everything and then pray with his family. He still claims to be walking in Salvation and watches Pastor Jack everyday. The betrayal and sexual sin I’ve lived through can only be healed by Jesus. I so wish that the church had talked more about how to know when a woman can leave and protect her heart and body from ongoing trauma and abuse.

It is so very true 😢. Right now I am in that position that my husband is cheating and is so cold towards me and has a hard heart. I am in prayers day and night with fasting and continuing in God’s word fighting for my marriage even though I don’t see any change in him. But ultimately I am fully trusting in God and not myself. Please keep me in your prayers. I really need the body of Christ praying for me 😢.

The Lord hates divorce, but he also doesn't want us to be abused. Make sure you are in a safe place physically and emotionally. I was in a toxic marriage for 37 years. He was a narcissist gas lighting person. The Lord gave ne the strength to leave. He would threaten me with divorce once a month. Mental games to control me. God will never leave us or forsake us. Praying for you

I forgave my husband for giving into the temptation of an affair. We both needed a new beginning to our marriage & I promised not to throw in his face what he did because if God forgave him & doesn't remember this sin , I CAN'T EITHER! I gave my hurt to Jesus & we overcame what Satan wanted to destroy 💔 ❤Keep the Faith & be the Best You with JESUS!!!

This was the first and only sermon on marriage that I truly connected with and I've listened to many throughout the years. If preachers would teach the other half of that saying, "Women submit to your husband...and they DO NOT finish the sentence! and if this message got out to the men, marriages would be on the uptick. If men hear and obey what the preacher is saying, their wives would walk to the ends of the earth with them but for the women who don't have those kind of men in their lives, we are still the bride of Christ and no man will ever fill His shoes, so we will wait and submit and obey to the one and only, love of our lives, Jesus Christ...it will be soon...good preaching today

@phyllisannbonviso6641 you are so right. I am so tired of hearing unbalanced preaching placing all the weight and responsibilities of marriage solely on the wife submitting. Such misguided teaching from the pulpit can also be seen as contributing to many Christian divorces today. Due to so much male bias in preaching about marriage and roles in marriage rather than the biblical full counsel of God in His word regarding marriage, the enemy has opened a chasm of destruction with so many Christian marriages ending in divorce and the children from those marriages suffer greatly. God help marriages today to truly represent the beautiful union that should be in marriage as Christ and His Church, so lovingly presented in your Word so the world will see a true difference between Christ centered marriages and the world.

Indeed. This lack of translation correctly is why my parents had such a horrible life together. Why my dad wore her down until she broke, physically and mentally/emotionally. They love to not explain this because then they can be a jailer/taskmaster/executioner and abuser and choose to think this is Gods model for men and woman. I cant even stand to see or speak to him anymore because he is almost 90 and still hasnt learnt a single thing..and when the wife tries to leave the church and her parents also his told her she cannot, due to biblical mandate. She became so indoctrinated with this corruption and would not even believe me when I did finally explain this to her correctly. Now she is in a dementia home and still has so many evil memories of abuse roiling around in her heart. MEN, TAKE NOTE OF THIS AND USE IT AS A LESSON OF WHAT NOT TO DO!!

I spoke to one of my college friends, former 🏀 teammate in both H.S. & college, this morning. She found out after so many years of marriage he's cheating with a high school gf, who is ALSO married. He's NOT a believer. I sent her this message and I pray 🙏 it encourages her. Please pray 🙏 for her, she wants to save her marriage and I am encouraging her to fight for her marriage. Everyone else has told her to run. I would have been 1 of those people several years ago, no more. God takes covenants seriously and we do not or most of us do not. I'm sorry I didn't. Anyway, I told my friend to fight & to hold fast that Jesus was coming soon. I said you may never get the marriage you deserve here, but one day you WILL be CENTER stage in all white, Amen 🙏. Thank you Jesus.

37 years & going strong. We do EVERYTHING together. Including men's Bible study night. ( only woman in the group) We got married with one basic rule. Jesus comes FIRST in ALL things, then each other, then our kids & EVERYTHING else after that. It's a winning formula I wish all married couples have. In all those years we've only had 2 minor spats that both ended up w us both laughing. If ever there was truly a marriage made in heaven it's ours. My 1st prayer every morning waking up is " Daddy, thank you for my wife, and for making her just crazy enough to marry me." ( She could have done LOTS better!) 😁

Im married to a nonbeliver. It’s the hardest thing ive ever had to live with. It’s beeb 12 years with this person. I know God has the ability to restore a marriage. I just cant do it anymore. He neglects me, he invalidates me, he snaps at me, he puts the marriage last, he gets pissed off at me when I try to talk to him about our marriage. He just wants me to shut up. He says hes so stressed with work that he doesnt have the time or energy to listen to me complain about our marriage too. He doesn’t want to hear it. What do i do? Do i keep fighting for my marriage? Do i walk away? Seems the more i pray the same it stays. Nothing ever changes. It’s been 12 years, and nothing. Is God not letting it work because he should be removed from my life in marriage? Or Is this satan grasping onto my husband? Or is this me not having faith that God will restore my marriage?????? I am just so lost with my marriage and so broken. I am so tired. The divorce rate is around 60% (yet I believe it’s 70%) but 80% of divorces are initiated by the woman. (thanks to no fault divorce laws) 1 in 3 marriages have very little or zero intimacy. 50% of married women already have a back up plan. Men lose their children, their finances, in many cases the home, half of everything, their stability and many unalive themselves. Countless dating sites prove that the majority of women only want the top 10% of men. Yet for over 50 years churches and pastors have done next to nothing about this. There is now zero benefits for a man in this day and age to get married. Now only six out of a 1000 men are getting married.

Divorce is not logical and leads to greater destruction. Many things can violate a covenant, but the only thing that can break the covenant is a coffin. If I’m reading this correctly in red font, and Luke 16;18 . Jesus said if you divorce and remarry as long as your pre-existent, covenant spouse is alive, you are committing and entering into adultery. Adultery is a matter of salvation, unlike one’s position on the rapture. Words to consider. That means over 50% of the church may possibly be living in an active state of adultery. Pastors in the pulpit, rarely address this for fear of losing attendance.

@pb3141 I would suggest that you listen to some of Joseph Webb‘s teachings on this. He has written books as well, but you can hear some of his sermons on KZbin. To answer your question if you thought you were marrying a believer who had never been married before, and then the truth comes out that he had been married before, then you mistakenly entered into adultery. If you had never been married before, I would say that you have never really had your own husband come clean before the Lord about this and stand and wait on his leading and prompting for where you go from here. The reason I say that you have not had your own husband is because you married another woman’s husband.

My husband loves to give me the silent treatment after a discussion/argument. I would attempt to talk to him after things cool down thinking we are cool and he’s very short with me and doesn’t look my way or is on his phone with a very short response. I’m annoyed and ready to make my exit. He’s done this too many times to me. He doesn’t follow God btw and I follow God more going to church reading the word and praying. I feel like satan continues to win in our relationship.

The first 15 years of mine was amazing, (not without incident arguments/disagreements) and one day after a terrible crisis, he told me he want to go ask the girl-just 18 by then) to marry him. I sobbed. And went for counseling that night as he went to her. She had been on the play by then and didn’t want him. I prayed without ceasing. The years that followed were so difficult. And more evil followed and I couldn’t stop praying. I’m 74 now, broken down, and he’s still bitter. We lost 2 sons in those years and I gave all to the Lord. I’m still believing God to answer my prayers. My heartbreaks for him and sometimes myself. He was an unbeliever when I married him and I hadn’t listened to the Lord. But, I hear hi loud and clear not. My doc asked yesterday if I’d marry him again. I said no, but it was all based on my disobedience to the Lord. I work hard to stay tucked into the Word and share all the Lord shares with me. I’m still fighting for his salvation and our marriage. Makes me sad some days. But, I pick myself up and get back to work and do kind things for him. Holding fast. Blessings many, young brother. ☺️

If you are listening Jack I want to know how a Christian man or woman can put up with marriage when the rules put in place by the governments for married people in such a way as to make marriage an unjust burden. As a Christian I would rather get married by a Christian church than by legal government means if the church marriage did not have the government attachment to it. So I choose a marriage to a woman without the government marriage arrangement which I believe has been corrupted. I believe that you totally did not understand the Jurassic Park comment in the movie with a very negative view. He could have had a careless view of marriage or he could have had bad experience with marriage that has tainted his view about the marriage institution and expects more of the same from women which there is a lot of in today's world.

He caters to his female audience and throws men under the bus. How can any pastor ignore the simple fact that 80% of divorces are initiated by the woman. One in three marriages are void of intimacy. 50% of married women have a back up plan or man. Divorce is big business where women reap all the benefits in divorce. There is now zero benefits for any man to get married.

I don't necessarily have a wife that receives the washing of the wife with the Word...she claims I'm a clanging gong/broken record ...and that she thinks I talk too much and has questioned my salvation....when I attack the position that Augustinian Calvinism model holds: that Jesus chooses individuals before they have any ability to even positively confess Jesus as Lord....thus creating a different God than Scripture reveals... She claims I am mocking her and making her feel berated cuz I let Scripture interpret Scripture and not just sign my brain out at the door of TULIP (ALL for God's glory, of course) 🙄 I've told her that I'm not attacking her....but the doctrine and she claims that I shouldn't question God.... I told her that it seems as though I just need to let my Eve just eat this fruit and I say nothing....but the things I put my wife through....I do also to me....as I want her to not buy the lie of "another gospel" which is only "good news" for "those that God 'elected' to love more than the rest of the world..He says He loves and paid for the forgiveness of sin.... I get that we aren't to argue...but how can I call something I see as evil a good thing....and allow silence to be acceptance in the realm of ...how will they hear unless someone tells them...? We've been married 20 years and she probably views me as a thorn in her side and have fallen from grace and am probably one assigned to be a vessel of wrath decreed from prior to the creation of earth..... I love her and am committed to providing for her and the child we have together...but I asked her if she believes the God controlling everything model...why would she be forced to marry someone she is unequally yoked with and she doesn't trust me or respect me... Marriage does reflect the relationship between God and His church...cuz as Jesus prayed for His disciples to be on the same page with Him as He is with the Father....plenty of opinions out there trying to speak on God's behalf and yet are more pigeonholing and manipulating God's Word for profit or ego.....😢

@beegreen0000 I don't believe God is the Author of confusion. When we first married I definitely did these things and she felt I was making an idol of her. She said she felt too dizzy so lifted up.... I get that we are to love our spouses as Christ loved the church...and also He said if we love our spouse more than Him we are unfit for the Kingdom.... Have you looked into the history of how Calvin had people killed that didn't measure up to his theology that came from Augustinian ideas (which were agnostic) I've never micromanage her theology much at all as I work 50-60 hrs a week while she runs a school...donation based only and our second mortgage went to paying staff during covid. My desire is that these kids would hear of the love of God for free...but in our state...we have to pay school taxes and then on TOP of that pay for a private school. First world problems... I am going to just pray silently around her and to allow her the silence she wants... Marriages aren't easy when one version of Truth comes from the Holy Spirit that is God and desires that none perish and that all would repent.....and the "opinion" of a man that claims God arbitrarily picked SOME to be saved ....(even after calling creation "good" KNOWING how things were going to turn out .... He could have just 'started over' with killing the first couple as opposed to a flood that wiped out all but 8 people... I'm aware that God will destroy evil won't force people to believe Him... I do believe this IS A salvation issue as it is a different Gospel and a different 'God'... But thanks for your reply...gonna get ready to go to work. God's Only Son Permits Eternal Life! 😇🙏💪

I hope you read the four divorce and remarriage books I sent you. God says that divorce and remarriage IS ONGOING ADULTERY, and you support people staying in 2nd marriages instead of calling people to repentance and to remain single and chaste or to reconcile with the covenant spouse. There is no exception clause for divorcing for adultery and getting remarried. You had divorced and remarried Mike Pompeo who is married to a twice divorced woman write your foreword. You have repenting to do if you have remarried divorced people. Till death or rapture is how long the covenant lasts.

@janeecejjf2001 1 Corinthians 6: 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: NEITHER FORNICATORS (4205), nor idolaters, NOR ADULTERERS (3432), nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such WERE some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; ADULTERY (3429), FORNICATION (4202), uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

@janeecejjf2001 Romans 7:Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? 2 For the woman (1135) which hath an husband (435) IS BOUND BY THE LAW to her husband (435) so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband (435). 3 So then if, while her husband (435) liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an ADULTERESS (3428): but if her husband (435) be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no ADULTERESS (3428), though she be married to another man. 1 Corinthians 7:2 Nevertheless, to avoid FORNICATION (4202) let every man have his OWN WIFE (1135), and let every woman have her OWN HUSBAND (435). 10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the LORD, Let not the wife (1135) depart from her husband (435): 11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband (435): and let NOT the husband (435) put away his wife (1135). 39 The wife (1135) IS BOUND BY THE LAW as long as her husband (435) liveth; but if her husband (435) be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord. Mark 7: 20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, ADULTERIES (3430), FORNICATIONS (4202), murders, 22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. Matthew 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, ADULTERIES (3430), FORNICATIONS (4202), thefts, false witness, blasphemies: 20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man. Revelation 2: 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit FORNICATION (4203), and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her FORNICATION (4202); and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that COMMIT ADULTERY (3431) with her into GREAT TRIBULATION, except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I will KILL her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your WORKS.

‘Prosperity gospel’ pastor PaulaWhite, who believes wealth is a sign of spiritual virtue, joined Trump's administration amid mounting criticism from religious groups President Trump's personal 'prosperity pastor' and former Christian megachurch head Paula White has officially joined the White House. The appointment marks an attempt by the president to sure up religious support for his reelection campaign despite White's controversial views that have divided some Christian communities. White has served as an unofficial "spiritual advisor" to the president since 2016, but this week marked her official transition to a government role. Her new role in the Office of the Public Liaison, The New York Times reported, will involve advising members of Trump's Faith and Opportunity Initiative. That initiative was established in May 2018 by way of executive order and is intended to help faith-based organizations, "strengthen the institutions of civil society and American families and communities." ... “Yes, they are greedy dogs Which never have enough.
