Hard working stay at home momma here! I've got 3 kiddos, my husband is a farmer, we have FFA, scouts, baseball, homework and I still have time to work a few hours a day from home and have supper on the table when hubby gets out of the fields at night. I'm proud of our family dynamic and wouldn't have it any other way! ❤

Unfortunately some women insist on having a job outside and sending kids to babysitters but they just end up paying the babysitter over half their income and feed them from McDonald's because they're too tired to cook.

The government counts on women working so they'll PAY TAXES and CONSUME. In the 1950's the average house was 928 sq. ft., the average family had one car and one telephone. There were no internet or cable bills. You mowed your own lawn. Going out to eat was a treat! People used the library and read books! We had small parties and visited each other for entertainment. We could get back to that and life wouldn't be so insanely expensive.

Everybody's rattled over the metaphor "stay at home mom". My wife was a stay at home mom for 7 years (two kids) and she did everything but stay at home. She took the kids to the Zoo, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, The Fair, countless museums, the beach, water parks, library and taught the kiddos how to read and write. My wife simply turned the title of stay at home mom upside down to WOW!!! Years later both kids have "useful degrees" and are both contributors to society. Well Done Mom Well Done...

Yes, a woman’s place is doing exactly what she was designed to do mother homemaker, and everything that that entails. That doesn’t mean that she should be mistreated or run over, but respected with reverence. All we have to do is look back in history and see how much lower the crime rate was when the family unit was strong united, and the mother stayed home with the children.

@@lemmdus2119Unfortunately, that is all far too many dads do. More money isn’t as important as more presence by dad. I have coached baseball and soccer, been active in Boy Scouts and taught in public schools and was a your pastor. Far too many kids have a dad who is awol from the family because he is “focusing on his career”. Dads need to balance their careers and families. Same is true for a lot of moms, as well. When you have one or both parents over-emphasizing their careers, the kids suffer. No need to believe in the “Stress for Success” mentality that has been created here in the US.

I was essentially working to afford childcare so someone else could raise my kids. NO THANK YOU! My husband picked up extra hours so I could stay home. Now, I homeschool two kids, volunteer, help out with their troops, work part-time at our church, and I have never been happier or more fulfilled! I have been on both sides of the stay at home thing. I worked when my wife could not, and I stayed at home when she could. I took care of her when she was unable to do so herself. I never thought about who should stay at home and who should not. So long as there is at least someone who maintains the house and the property, and someone willing to work outside of the house, then things remain efficient on the home front. Being someone who has worked hard for most of his adult life, I can honestly say that having someone to come home to beats out coming home to an empty house ten times out of ten.

She worked on the farm during the 20's as a kid and later raising kids, hard times back then working hard farm life. Grandpa was head of the house, Alpha adult kids still respected he never told grandma she had to be at home if she wanted to work he never stopped her. So, as soon as school was out for the summer, she was off work for the summer up until I was old enough to basically take care of myself during the summer. It was great. The left hates the stay at home mom because, just like you said, they can raise their own children and not the gov't. Also, the "stay at home mom" is aligned with traditional family values and the gub'ment just can't have that..........

Then my wife stayed home to raise the kids and keep the books for our family farm. I knew nothing more than seeing stable households that women ran very well. I think that single parent homes would be reduced if more two parent families adopted the traditional roles that families hold dear. We need more strong women like stay at home and run the household. I believe in everything that the pro football player said in his graduation address. That idea alone makes America great again!

I married my "southern wife" in 84, we had almost forty years of good marriage before she died from long term multiple sclerosis and COPD. She worked more than half of it because she wanted to feel like she was earning her way. I was an active duty Marine for twenty of it, held one or two jobs on the side the whole time, and our best years were all with her at home not working. She spent years pursuing a job with the post office, finally got it, and hated it to the end. She went to work at two in the morning, and the worst part was she never got good sleep until she left the post office behind. I've had four other family members work in the post office, and it's been miserable for each of the families involved. My brother and sister in law both did so, and are not retired and finally happy after forty years. We will never get back all those years.

So I could have a good paying job while I looked for someone to sing back up for. Too late for me, but if we would get behind more girls like Landon Starbuck , who is about to have 4 kids, or even Floor Jansen who doesn't do religion but recently had a second, is always well spoken and kind to people, maybe we wouldn't have to worry about girls getting sucked into Satanic Hollywood or being cheated out of a family.

My mother, a farmer's wife, stayed home and raised us five children. I, in turn, did the same. It's not that unusual in Scotland, but more and more females are marrying a whole lot older and then starting (hopefully) a family in their mid to late 30's. To each their own, as they say. Talking ladies.......My husband has a tattoo on his arm that has the sweetest words. Please let me share. "The only woman I ever loved was another man's wife.....my mother." He had his tattoo done in Hong Kong in the seventies when he was a young sailor boy and I love it! Our two sons have the self same tattoo. I'm so blessed.

SAHM for 25 years, homeschooling 13 children (graduated 6 so far),gardening, raising animals, canning, and all the things 😁 I babysit for young single mothers who are struggling and mentor them. I love my life and am so thankful for my hardworking husband who puts in long hours in his construction job to make it possible for me to be home with our children. Dinner around the table together as a family every night, how it should be. I don’t for one second feel like I am deprived of a career or that I could have done better with my life. I’m right where I am meant to be ❤

This is the best Buddy Brown comment I've heard. America needs to take a giant step backwards if she expects to move forward. Our children are our future, and they need the security of a loving mother to nurture them. Their greater need is a father who loves mother and provides godly leadership.

I am a stay at home momma. I’ve turned our land into an urban homestead. I’ve built my own coops and structures that sit on this land - pond included so we have omegas 3/6. I do a lot of things the old fashioned way. And I am ALWAYS there for the children.

I agree completely. The wife should do as she wishes as long as she is taking care of the home. I stayed home after I had my son. I loved being a mom and homemaker. It wasn’t until he graduated college and moved out that I went to work full time. A happy mom/wife is a happy home.

I walk beside my husband, not in front of or behind. We are a God fearing, country lovin family and we've raised our son to do the same, idle hands and programmed minds are the devils workshop, be none of that in our house, knowing you've put a little sweat on your brow, kitchen work and raising babies included, helps your head hit that pillow and have a good nights sleep 😁🙌🙌

Completely agree that true women should be running the day to day operations of their homes. They are the best GM for the home. My X was a feminist, and I was the one doing most of the work in the house… yet, she refused to get (even a part time) a job, causing us to lose our home. It’s almost two years later and my youngest adult son and I are still in a one-room extended stay with our own place not in the foreseeable future. Great piece, Buddy!

My place is in my home making sure my husband and daughter are prepared for their day. I don’t consider myself a housewife, I am a homemaker and it is an important part of their lives. I worked until the year before Covid so I was able to be home with our 7th grader, she’s going into her senior year now. Ladies find the right man and take care of him, men need us just as much as we need them. If you want to have a happy marriage don’t compete with your husband, let him take care of in the way only he can.

As a man when I hear someone say to a woman. Oh, you're just a wife and stay at home mom. You don't have a job. I jump all over them. I'm 67 years old. The hardest job I have ever seen is a stay-at-home mom. She works from before the kids get up in the morning to long after they have gone to bed. Her job is priceless.

When my wife and I had our children, my sister was a stay at home mom. Unfortunately, she had 2 little one's of her own and after several months, she told me she couldn't handle all 4. Well, I sold our new car, I bought a minivan from a relative, and my wife quit her lucrative job and stayed home until our youngest was in all day kindergarten. She took a part time job during the day then but was there while I was at work. I worked every hour of overtime I could and I'll tell you it was tough and had some very lean years but what a blessing when we came out the other side! Yes we sacrificed a lot but it was worth it!😊😊

I've been blessed to be able to be a stay at home Mom a large portion of my life. When I garden (we have a large garden and I can what I've grown)>> I literally put "food on the table". I also sell produce and home made jam at Farmer's Market, which helps pays for other groceries. It is a good feeling to put a home cooked supper on the table for my husband when he comes home, and I am appreciated for doing so❤

Love this video so much. When my husband and I first married (30 years ago this year), I worked a full time job. When we had our daughter I became a SAHM. Was it always easy? No. Did we have the biggest and best house in the neighborhood? No. There is sacrifice that was made for me to stay home but it was important for us to do this. Our daughter is grown and married with a baby of her own. She wants to stay home so badly but the economy is against so many people these days. So, because her husband is a firefighter they can vary their days so one of them is pretty much home with their baby at all times. When it can’t be helped, I am there to step in and help. We aren’t perfect over here, but we are dang sure blessed! Be blessed y’all!
