1:11 Intel has also used the same hybrid architecture used by apple. Intel alder lake 12th gen CPUs have both efficient and performance cores which can be independently used based on the task you are performing. If the work is resources heavy, it uses all of those efficient and performance cores But if you are just browsing the internet as well as other light tasks, only efficient cores are used thus ensuring better battery life.

Phones are manufactured for normal people and their regular use. Laptops & computers are mostly used by professionals. For web browsing & MS Office you really do not need powerful laptops. When it comes to development, editing, publishing the old laptops are not usable at all.

Windows 10 ARM laptops were launched way back in 2017. It was not Microsoft that got scared and launched Windows 11 to optimize for ARM. It is Apple that got scared that Microsoft will get ahead on ARM. Since, Apple already was way ahead on ARM mobile they said why not. Windows 11 was just a reboot so that would be more secure while at the same time having new design language. Windows might look behind but it is ahead and there are some business priorities that they have to choose which is causing a delay. But, it doesn't matter Windows will be back on track. And to add Satya Nadella said there would be no more version after Windows 10 was simply because of their business priorities. He went all in on cloud Microsoft Azure and got at the position where he wanted. After that he switched focus to Windows and thought of making it secure and redesigning. So, why not with new refreshing version. So, let's not make a bs assumptions that Microsoft is scared company while Apple is the boss kind of stuff. Both are on their own way. ARM switching is not the great deal that people make because of M1. Both have their own userbase and companies vision. It will take time. Just wait and don't come to conclusion that some one is scaring and some one is scared kind of nonsense statement.

All architecture is basically same...main difference is write buffer and Instruction set...x86 has more instruction sets and gives full write access in processors memory buffer for better performance...ARM has less instruction set this require less buffer and it can enable/disable the write access to the buffer...now if this write access is given always then your full charged 4500 mAh battery may be drained in 5-10 minutes but u will get full performance...so the solution lies in controlling and tuning the each or most of the application running on ARM chip...like Apple...but this increases the cost hugely...x86 is always better because it gives you best or near best performance in 1/3rd cost of a apple product...plus rest of the windows ecosystem nearly free but apple ecosystem again huge costly...ARM is best for where power is limited like mobiles but when you have a continuous souce of power nearby, x86 is the obvious choice...its way economical...and for enterprice applications it's nearly impossible to go ARM just because of cost disadvantages...

Basic motive of Advanced RISC Machines were to provide a method that system on chip SOC has more productivity than to that of independent processor and RAM unit. ARM for SOCs. An OS working on both architecture x86 and ARM is really good idea. For your idea to make independent os for arm as well as x86 may be they already tried this with windows phone/tab os. So to have some hybrid formula of an os keeping both qualities is a mind blowing idea.

@Ashish kumar --There are so many thing you should be taking care of. 1. One most imp. thing you can do is reduce the brightness as much as possible and try to avoid it. 2. Use dark mode instead of light mode (theme) 3. Take a break after whenever you feel pain. 4. Blink your eyes after every 5 sec. Because as long we adapt a habit of seating in front of computer for more than a usual. Our eyes reduces the blinking as we focus more on the screen and that is really not good. Because it makes our eyes dry if we dont blink And that is not good. As far as i researched i even a computer glasses cant do anythings. Its because difference computer screen of now and then are changed and also it doesnt give much effect. Most of the doctors do say this.

Update kardo, Intel 12th gen meii performance and efficiency core haii -- @6:15 :- Linux + ansible + wireguard +vyos -- @10:20 :- totally disagree with your opinion, it is Apple Rosetta 2 which solves chicken egg issue -- @15:00 main issue with Microsoft, they have deal with Qualcomm, only Qualcomm have windows arm license, and Qualcomm is not good as Apple because they doesn't design their chip, just copy paste official arm specification. So either they (Microsoft) broke their Qualcomm agreement or Qualcomm (after acquiring Nuivia) design their chip.
