A key point to express here is that the policy of the Trump presidency will likely become much clearer in 2025. My guess is Trump likes the sanctions against Russia very much he had heavily sanctioned Russia especially energy which Joe Biden immediately removed while damaging US and Canada energy from day one, keystone pipeline ban day one must be a confirmation of the democratic party all along was the real Russian agents, or just the most stupid people to run a country. Sanctions are very profitable especially if drill baby drill becomes a reality. And then European countries are going to pay for the war alone for the most part which is already happening Norway just after the election says +300 in donations and if they really wanted they could pay for Ukraine winning the war easily. My country Denmark is already to top donor per capita but our government is also just going to pay much more money. Trump is going to lift restrictions which Biden has not already lifted, and start selling weapons instead of donating for free. This is 100% America first policy, and close to what Trump has already done before and his way of operating. Trump cares nothing for Putin or Kim it is a negotiation and manipulation tactic he uses to handle people like them, which western leaders normally don’t know how to handle.

Biden always wanted Ukraine to lose, he had a lot of things he could have done without asking anyone but did nothis, while there is a lot of things that he could not have done to hamper Ukraine and while nobody was asing for it he did it anyway, from day one the Biden preferred option was "give a ride"

Here's a quick rundown of German politics from someone who lives there. It's almost guaranteed that the conservative CDU will be the largest faction in February. The uncertainties are the following three bullet points: 1) Will the SPD and CDU combined have more than 50% of the votes? If so, that's the government we'll get. If not, things will get very complicated, possibly with an extended lame-duck period. 2) If the CDU and SPD don't get a majority, there's the question if the CDU remains true to their word and keeps the far-rights out of the government. It seems likely that they will but one never knows. It happened in Austria a few years ago, and it might happen here, too. If the far-right Putin apologists get enough votes, German politics will become a shitshow similar to the US. 3) Who's going to lead the SPD? Nobody likes Scholz but so far he managed to silence his opponents within the SPD. His most likely replacement would be our current defence minister Pistorius. He's been quite busy over the last year and pushed for reforms on the military procurement side. You might recognize quite a few of your own positions about the Bundeswehr in his comments and actions. Probably the most competent defence minister we've had in a decade, if not longer.

As an American, I have to say this: Ukraine might have been as high as 4th on the list of concerns most voters had on election day and likely quite a bit lower. I am not going to say that every voter had the same priorities, but domestic issues (economy, immigration, abortion, etc.) were higher priorities than foreign wars for both parties and most of the independents. Israel-Palestine probably ranked higher in the minds of the masses. I am not saying that was good, just, or right, just that more people were concerned about the price of eggs than people dying halfway across the world. Even if Harris won, it was likely to be more of the same, mild support with a lot of strings attached.
@Ω3103ζ6 күн бұрын
i cant wrap my head around the fact that most americans voted for republicans, because of the economy- didnt bush saw over and was partially responsible for the biggest economic crash in this century? Didnt trump saw over the initial impacts of covid-19 and barely did anything about it? Whenever a republican leaves the white-house in the last 24 years, a democrat needs to see over the mess they made during their administration and needs to in some way or other solve it, its never the other way around. You might be right that ukraine/foreign affairs wasnt the priority for most americans, but from an outsiders perspective even considering their own scewed reasoning- it still is baffling to me that voters honestly to god think that their economy will get better under trump when history repeatedly showed otherwise. The economic growth during 16-19 wasn't because of his design, and when it came down to it in 2020, he failed. I seriously dont get how anyone would 4 years later vote for the guy that failed, again.

1. even with ppp copium the russian economy still isn't that big, it is barely bigger then germany in ppp and is still absolutely dwarfed by countries like the USA and china 2. the only reason this war is the biggest war in the 21st century is because we live in a time of unprescedented peace and russia failed to get an early victory like the US did in iraq. 3. russia is not alone in this war by any stretch, many countries are helping russia both directly (iran, NK) and indirectly (china, india) 4. russia has an artilery based military doctrine, while most nato countries have an air force based doctrine.
