@@carolbassant2490 I always interpreted the "tares" as people who pretend to be Christians, but are anything, but. They're "Christian" b/c they go to church or they believe in Jesus. In ancient times (or at least in their area) there was a weed that looked almost identical to the (what I assume) wheat. Whatever the good crop was, the weed looked almost identical to it. Take a look at the parable of the 10 virgins; all 10 were "believers," but 5 of them had the Holy Spirit and the other 5 were foolish and indulged in worldly ways.

Jesus will not save you, or anyone else, and here’s why, and to help you realize this, consider the following facts: Sin has separated you from God, the Father, who is the life-giving Spirit, and you have no access to His Holy Spirit while you are burdened and covered with sin. Without God, the life-giving Spirit, you will die without any hope of redemption and eternal life. You were born into a world of good and evil due to the fall of Adam, our original father, the father of all mankind. Due to our sins, God is far from us. We are separated from the giver of life, which is why our lives are short and come to an end. Without righteousness, you have no access to God, the Father. To establish righteousness, God’s law was revealed to us, which can lead to righteousness, however, you, and everyone else on the planet, fell short of obeying the law of God, but now the law condemns you, and everyone has fallen short of righteousness. Now, the Law is that which leads us to Christ. Here is the good news, ‘the Gospel,’ “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. ‘He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God’” (John 3:16-18). What is His name? What is the revealed name of the Savior, the only begotten Son of God? In Matthew 1:21, the angel commanded Joseph, a descendant of king David and the betrothed husband of Mary, to give the newly born Savior, the only begotten of God the Father, the virgin-born Son of God, a specific name. But, did the angel give the name of “Jesus”? And this begs the question, can we change the name of salvation revealed from Heaven? The shocking fact is that the name “Jesus” has only existed since the 17th century CE! Before the name Jesus (gee-sus) existed, it was Iesus (ee-sus), as found in the Bible, the King James Version of the year 1611 CE. Iesus transformed from the name Iesous (ee-sous). Iesous is a transliteration of the Aramaic name Yeshua. Will God honor belief in a name (Jesus) he never revealed as the name of salvation? If we chose Jesus, as the name of salvation, a name that came into being through linguistic evolution, are not the names Jesus, Iesus, Iesous, counterfeits? The angel did not speak to Joseph in English (Jesus), Latin (Iesus), or in Greek (Iesous). Why is this even an issue? The apostle Peter gave this testimony: “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). This excludes any other name, or names, not revealed from Heaven! The name “Jesus” is there in the New Testament, and if it did not get there by the revelation of God, then why is it in the Bible? It was authorized by the traditions of men and not the revelation of God. That would make the name Jesus a counterfeit name, and therefore, not honored by God. Now what do we do? We failed the requirements of the Law, which if obeyed afforded us righteousness and acceptance to God the Father, and therefore eternal life, and we do not have the one name given under heaven by which we must be saved! And God never revealed the names of Jesus, Iesus, or Iesous, so what is the revealed name of salvation? So what do we do? We must find the name of our salvation in the Word of God, and not according to the tongue of man! Let’s start, with a man by the name of Saul, a Jewish religious leader, who was commissioned to go to Damascus to arrest and prosecute Jewish believers in Christ. Later he gives this testimony of his journey to king Agrippa, “While thus occupied, as I journeyed to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me. And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am YAHSHUA, whom you are persecuting” (Acts 26:12-15). We know that Jesus, Iesus, or Iesous are not Hebrew names, therefore, Christ did not reveal those names. Did Saul, who now is an Apostle, who afterwards went by the name of Paul, and who was sent by Christ to preach the Gospel of Christ, actually hear the name “YAHSHUA”? This is a very unique name, and it would likely be considered a philological impossibility by linguistics today. But notice, that the name YAHSHUA has the prefix of YAH. What does prefix mean? A prefix can be a letter or group of letters that may be added to the beginning of a word to modify its meaning. Shua means “my help”, as in “salvation.” Therefore Shua is modified by YAH, and literally means, “I AM Salvation.” YAH is part of the true name of God, and we praise this name by saying, “Halleluyah,” which means “Praise YAH!” The meaning of YAH is “I AM.” Many believe the name of the God of the Bible to be YAHWEH. YAH is “I AM”, but “weh”, who knows? Where did we get the name YAH? Short answer, the name YAH was revealed to Moses. “Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM” [that is: “HaYAH Ashar HaYAH,” HaYAH means “the I AM”] And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM [YAH] has sent me to you.’ ” Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations” (Exodus 3:13-14). YAH is “the name which is above every name.” Did the apostle Paul hear “the name which is above every name” on the road to Damascus? Yes, he did, as his testimony clearly reveals. He did not hear the name Jesus, but he heard the name YAH, and he writes, “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of YAHSHUA, every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that YAHSHUA the Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11). What is truly being said here? The Christ has “the name which is above every name,” YAH. We, all creatures, are to bow before this name YAHSHUA! Every language, every tongue, is to know this one revealed name from Heaven! Any name not revealed by God is a counterfeit name, and therefore tantamount to idolatry! Any name not revealed by God is not the name of salvation, whereby we must be saved! To reject the one name given under heaven by which we must be saved is to stand and be condemned already (John 3:18). “But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in YAHSHUA the Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ YAHSHUA, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in YAHSHUA” (Romans 3:21-26).

As a journalist you must be familiar with being in context when discussing a story. Surely you would consider audience relevance. Surely you would consider timing /imminent time statements. With all due respect,pastor Hibbs exercises not one of these hermenutic laws of biblical interpretation. This is sloppy doctrine on so many levels. Might I suggest we put the newspapers down, pick up the bible and recognize it wasn't written to us but was written for us. Paul preached nothing but the hope of Israel found in the law and the prophets......Acts 24,26,and 28. Jesus came back in the generation he was speaking to in judgement of Old Covenant Israel for transgressing the law and killing the Prophets. There's no 3rd appearance. Let's rejoice in the fact that Jesus did exactly what he said he would do! Please reconsider this sloppy doctrine.

Thank you Pastor Hibbs for being the second Noah. I left a church because they have been teaching Luke for five years now, for 45 minutes and done! I needed to relate and be aware of current times per the Bible. I thank God for your teachings, it has been water in the dessert. The church claims not to get into “politics”. “No”, I claim it’s not politics, it’s prophecy! Jesus told us these things were going to happen! Pastor Jack, I have to agree, "organized church" is done. Not Christ's Church. I just left an organized church. The pastor always spoke about himself. Lots of I's in his "sermon". The Holy Spirit stood in the back waiting for this man to read Gods Word. When he did read out of the Bible the Spirit would move. Then the pastor would go back to talking about himself again and I could see Gods Spirit went to the back of the building, waiting again for Gods word to be spoken. This went on for years and finally I had enough. I want preachers to preach the good word, the gospels, to edify all who listen.I would say long-suffering is a spiritual gift for sure. I just went through it hoping that things might change. They didn't. So sad. Thank you Pastor Jack for you spirit filled messages. That is such a blessing and I hope all your congregants know what a blessing you are to them.Good on you!

In Matthew 1:21, the angel commanded Joseph, a descendant of king David and the betrothed husband of Mary, to give the newly born Savior, the only begotten of God the Father, the virgin-born Son of God, a specific name. But, did the angel give the name of “Jesus”? And this begs the question, can we change the name of salvation revealed from Heaven? The shocking fact is that the name “Jesus” has only existed since the 17th century CE! Before the name Jesus (gee-sus) existed, it was Iesus (ee-sus), as found in the Bible, the King James Version of the year 1611 CE. Iesus transformed from the name Iesous (ee-sous). Iesous is a transliteration of the Aramaic name Yeshua. Will God honor belief in a name (Jesus) he never revealed as the name of salvation? If we chose Jesus, as the name of salvation, a name that came into being through linguistic evolution, are not the names Jesus, Iesus, Iesous, counterfeits? The angel did not speak to Joseph in English (Jesus), Latin (Iesus), or in Greek (Iesous). Why is this even an issue? The apostle Peter gave this testimony: “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). This excludes any other name, or names, not revealed from Heaven! The name “Jesus” is there in the New Testament, and if it did not get there by the revelation of God, then why is it in the Bible? It was authorized by the traditions of men and not the revelation of God. That would make the name Jesus a counterfeit name, and therefore, not honored by God. Now what do we do? We failed the requirements of the Law, which if obeyed afforded us righteousness and acceptance to God the Father, and therefore eternal life, and we do not have the one name given under heaven by which we must be saved! And God never revealed the names of Jesus, Iesus, or Iesous, so what is the revealed name of salvation? So what do we do? We must find the name of our salvation in the Word of God, and not according to the tongue of man! Let’s start, with a man by the name of Saul, a Jewish religious leader, who was commissioned to go to Damascus to arrest and prosecute Jewish believers in Christ. Later he gives this testimony of his journey to king Agrippa, “While thus occupied, as I journeyed to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me. And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am YAHSHUA, whom you are persecuting” (Acts 26:12-15). We know that Jesus, Iesus, or Iesous are not Hebrew names, therefore, Christ did not reveal those names. Did Saul, who now is an Apostle, who afterwards went by the name of Paul, and who was sent by Christ to preach the Gospel of Christ, actually hear the name “YAHSHUA”? This is a very unique name, and it would likely be considered a philological impossibility by linguistics today. But notice, that the name YAHSHUA has the prefix of YAH. What does prefix mean? A prefix can be a letter or group of letters that may be added to the beginning of a word to modify its meaning. Shua means “my help”, as in “salvation.” Therefore Shua is modified by YAH, and literally means, “I AM Salvation.” YAH is part of the true name of God, and we praise this name by saying, “Halleluyah,” which means “Praise YAH!” The meaning of YAH is “I AM.” Many believe the name of the God of the Bible to be YAHWEH. YAH is “I AM”, but “weh”, who knows? Where did we get the name YAH? Short answer, the name YAH was revealed to Moses. “Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM” [that is: “HaYAH Ashar HaYAH,” HaYAH means “the I AM”] And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM [YAH] has sent me to you.’ ” Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations” (Exodus 3:13-14). YAH is “the name which is above every name.” Did the apostle Paul hear “the name which is above every name” on the road to Damascus? Yes, he did, as his testimony clearly reveals. He did not hear the name Jesus, but he heard the name YAH, and he writes, “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of YAHSHUA, every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that YAHSHUA the Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11). What is truly being said here? The Christ has “the name which is above every name,” YAH. We, all creatures, are to bow before this name YAHSHUA! Every language, every tongue, is to know this one revealed name from Heaven! Any name not revealed by God is a counterfeit name, and therefore tantamount to idolatry! Any name not revealed by God is not the name of salvation, whereby we must be saved! To reject the one name given under heaven by which we must be saved is to stand and be condemned already (John 3:18). “But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in YAHSHUA the Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ YAHSHUA, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in YAHSHUA” (Romans 3:21-26).

I'm just so grateful that Calvary in Chino hills is solid. It seems like some of the other calvaries that are out there that belong to the main big church are just way more watered down. It's like they don't want to preach on hell or on jesus's return. It's almost like it's too uncomfortable to go that way and it's going to offend people. At least this Calvary chapel the main campus at least does it right.

Second, to say Trump mis spoke is not for you to " judge". He said what he said, and It was very clear.. He was very clear that he thinks he's a good person and that is what he thinks counts. So be careful you are making judgments as well. On me and on Trumps words and motives. Do you know DT personally?? I don't either. Have you heard him repent from those comments from 2016?
