This band is extraordinarily rich in emotion. They helped me through a lot of hard times. Some people I’ve lost, some people I’ve had to let go. I pray the love of my life isn’t one of those.. They make me feel human, and I need that in my life. I need to feel like I’m alive and I’m here, I need to feel accepted and supported. I need compassion and forgiveness. I am hurting a lot, but I know there is a person out there whether it’s this band, or someone so beautifully broken that I pray has healed. That’s all I need

The more I listen, the more I like. I initially heard lots of influence (or at least similarities) to 80s George Harrison, some little bits of Billy Idol in some of the guitar work and progressions, and some Bryan Adams in the vocal style. Now I'm hearing lots of Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits, which is great because they are in my top 3 favorite bands of all time. You guys are awesome. Keep it up. I can't even believe how much I'm loving this. I haven't been plugged into seeking out new music in years, but as a new-to-me group, you are making me want to get back into it.

[?] How could I wait until you recognized me? When you were there inside my dreams No, you don't have to go, I want to make you stay Goodbye, anyway I heard the news today I've been up since the break of dawn I lost my mind today I'm at the sea, and I can hear the trains Winds of change, so new Blow right through me and blow back through you And pull you into the light, yeah

I heard Bob Dylan in a Rolling Thunder Revue recording and loved him. I bought a TWOD album same day and drove up the coast of Maine in the dark. Loved it too. Hi John Davis, it's me again, you and I are big TWOD fans! At first, I thought of my grandparents so so long ago that I lost when I was 7-10 years old and I love this song so much, been playing it how long now? 3 years? Now all year I've been watching my dad fade away gradually from dementia, just crossing over, taking his last breaths. He just passed away in our presence in hospice, peacefully, freed of pain and suffering, and I've been continuously playing this song, and even though I cry, it gives me solace, peace, and closure. I love and miss my dad so much, and I love this band so much, and as I have told you before, I am so lucky to have seen them 3 times in NYC, and plan to see them again. Peace brother.

But three times! Dang I am behind in my to do list. Like I said in our other thread, I am very sorry for your loss. Sorry you lost your dad. Although there are some things in this world I really like, sometimes things happen that don't seem right at all. Getting back to TWOD for a minute... Please do me a favor regarding this band....If you find out they are going on tour again please drop me a line. Will ya? I'll do the same for you. I've been checking the web to see if anything comes up but I sure don't want to miss it. Will you share TWOD news with me as soon as you hear something? I will do the same. Take care my fellow traveler. May you find peace and rest even in the bad days.
