As a former dog handler the story is a nice compliment to dog handlers , however dogs are very vulnerable to weapons fire. If an enemy notes you have a dog they will target the animal and you will lose your dog very quickly if the animal is exposed. In this story where the dogs take on enemy soldiers, they would not last long .
