I was hoping Dragonflight would be ok. I was not let down. I enjoyed DF quite a bit, raided more in that expac than i did in most others. Made a new guild friend group. Very much hoping War Within is as good if not better. IDC if its better, just needs to be AS good as DF. I hope for better though.

good advice to ppl with MANY alts turn off all addons before launch (faster logins) turn needed addons on your 1 main login to all alts once when the expansion kicks in 1 by 1 even if it takes time and last char to login should be your main that way you have perhaps all classes both faction ready to gain rested xp

Do not log out at the exact starting area. Bad idea, just be somewhere nearby.

The only thing i would recomend.. Pick 1 Cloth, 1 Leather, 1 mail and 1 plate character to level as PRIORITY. Just so you have them ready for when lfr comes out. And for mog farming in general. Even from dungeons. Always good to have at least 1 char to start collecting them on. I would also recomend. Just for fun. To take screenshots of what your health was like when you were level 70. With the gear you had. And then see how big diference in health and stats is between level 70 and 80. Always something i forget to do. But always curious how big the jump in stats is. But i have chosen my 4 alts that i plan to level. My main, mail user, shaman first. Since he has enchanting and jewelcrafting. Then my plate user, Warrior as tank for leveling and arms for lfr and stuff. Mining and blacksmithing. Leveling him second. Since i kinda need the ore for my mains jewelcrafting. Then i think i will level my Shadow Priest. For the cloth dude. As well as Tailoring and enchanting. Mats are always nice to have for enchanting. Then last. I think it will be my Demon Hunter, leather user. As tank for leveling and dps for lfr and stuff. He has Herbalism and Alchemy. So i have some proffessions and stuff ready. Other than that... I will be leveling them slowly when i have time. Since its the start of the expansion: I am not really in much of a hurry. Leveling them one at a time. At least my horde dudes. My alliance alts... I dont know. I leveled some during the pandaria remix. For the heritage armor and stuff achivements. Since im atm more casual.: Not raiding with a guild.. So just lfr and doing old stuff like mog farming. So i dont have to stress much. Just enjoying the game. and stuff.

why would you need the 4 armor types with a warband?

@@jeremyd6304 As well as another thing that you probably didnt know. That was changed from the beta. You dont learn ALL transmogs when doing quests.. Only what your character can unlock. So if you do quests as a Paladin.. You will only unlock those that is plate.. Not cloth, leather and mail. In the beta you would unlock all of the mogs. All 4 types. But it was later changed so you cant. Which means. You will need to level 1 of each armor types. This ofcourse doesnt apply to the gear that drops. Where you can learn anything that drops. But this isnt the same for quests.

The whole 'talk to /SOMEONE/..' bit on the starting quest is probably redundant when we all have an entry in quest log currently for 'Speak to Khadgar in Dalaran to set off for Khaz Algar' .. ;P

got my toons stationed at Seaspray Cliffs in Suramar. It's just outside of Dala. i've found doing this to be more stable when "zoning in" to a high density area

Since im a Druid, i want to get Pathfinder as fast as possible. So I think I might just go do all the campaigns and get the Pathfinder achievement. Then I can do normal flying and finish all the side quests.

Personally, I'm gonna use the early access days to actually take my time leveling, taking in the zones and stories rather than rushing to the finish line with everyone else.

That's definitely what I plan on doing, too! Taking time to really absorb all the quests. Even the few side quests I did on the beta were all amazing!

I will have too many level 70s after the remix conversion! I'm just going to plod along and level one at a time and check the professions. The only time I'd do war mode is with my dwarf tank since he does mining and can't be knocked off his mount. Otherwise no way in hell would I even bother.

I want to focus on the expansion but I'm having trouble dealing with the mysterious item removal from the banks. I have 3 guilds and many many many alts across several realms and trying to keep track of missing bank items is just a time waster. I thought it was odd when it popped up last week but it's worse after reset...more missing items. I hope this will be fixed before the banks are totally cleansed. 😮‍💨😢

Hey, what precisely happens to remix characters? Every item and currency is being deleted? Heathstone reset? Character moved?

all but for Gold the answer is yes, you will even get up to 2K gold to help get your characters going.

All items and Remix currency is removed. You are given a leveled set of gear (Level 70 characters get a set of 467). You get a bag of gold (also you get to keep any gold you got in remix) And yes your character will be in Stormwind or Orgrimmar

I have been grinding for the netherwing mounts in outlands with my main, who I am gonna take into the expansion but I don't want to have to go all the way back to outlands for my netherwing dailies, so I figured I'd make a timewalking alt to grind the rest of the netherwing rep if its shared. Otherwise, I'll headed back to outlands each day haha

Not knocking Soul or any of the other WoW streamers but I do personally find all these "You gotta do this" or "Play this way or you're wrong" or "Pick your main our way or you'll fail" type videos just put unnecessary pressure on some players, I find the "Hit max lvl in 22 minutes from launch" type even worse. We bloody well pay enough for the expansions and subs that I'm not rushing anything. They don't personally affect me as I always main the same toon I have since I started at the tail end of vanilla and love him and his progression, then once he's at a decent place I'll have a play on alts that I fancy that day. I do know people who are suffering anxiety and panic attacks in case they choose the wrong class or don't do things as instructed as they'll ruin their gaming. I much prefer the guide type videos, lore and things like add ons that could help but aren't life threatening requirements. Not every one is a Mythic or Esports type. Keep dropping in stuff for us filthy casuals please. Peace. 😎

Another tip is maybe don't expect to enjoy the story on your main's first play-through. There is a high chance that most audio, dialogs and cut scenes will be missing, not working or black screened... this is pretty typical for a WoW expansion (especially in recent years), I'd say give it at least 2-3 weeks before a good majority are fixed.

There's very little advantage to early access. The few days you're given is probably enough time to get one toon to max level. It's not enough time to get really comfortable with the new dungeons. M+ and raids won't start until 9/17. It's not even a full week before global launch. That's just enough time to get a look at the game, not much more than that.

How's it pay to win you won't be able to do anything but lvl you won't be able to get a head on professions because you won't be able to get your specialtys. You won't be able to get to do any mythics. The way I see it is this is a way for people who can't dedicate a ton of time to play to get a little more time to lvl so they will be there by the time the guild starts doing mythics and raiding. Also it's like $20 more and it gives people a month of time and 3 days early accessible that's not bad that's like buying wow time for some people. Plus you get a pet and toy and armor set and mount sounds like a good investment to me.

I'm playing EA, the game time made a difference for me. But that aside, I'm hoping it'll make main launch day much more stable. I will only say it's been a joy so far.
