why is it that the 80's music seemed to have a soul that today's couldn't match to save it's life??

This song tells you to enjoy every second of your life. Because you only get one chance in this world 🌍 because when God calls remember the madness of it all you had. Life isn't hard people make it hard. Blessings to us all.

i went to school with Des Ward (Keyboard player) and lived around the corner from his brother Derek (guitar). they were a a talented bunch. Formerly known as Attic Voices and even Don Was who produced them went on record as saying that they came to him with demos that were perfect and needed nothing doing to them.

Nice little tribute to MIAMI VICE. With clips from Brother's Keeper, Definitely Miami, Florence Italy, Love At First Sight and Freefall. Do I know my shit or what? I should. After all, I wrote- and own- MIAMI VICE- THE BEGINNING.

MIAMI, the 80's. Meet James Crockett. Not your average "street cop." He's a Southern Boy who oozes charm and is pretty handy with that Glock of his. Hell, he should be. He served our country in 'Nam. Sonny Burnett, that's his alter ego. He lives on a houseboat with Elvis, his pet alligator and wages a personal war on drugs, crime, and well, you guessed it, VICE. Enter one Ricardo Tubbs. Not your average "street cop". Tubbs is suave and street smart. Hell, he should be, being from New Yolk and all that! Crockett and Tubbs reluctantly become partners to go after baddies like Bruce Willis and Miguel Pinero and G. Gordon Liddy to name but a few. They bed beautiful women and get into shootouts, car chases and boat chases all staged to the background rhythms of Genesis and Phil Collins and The Who to name but a few. Yeah, Crockett and Tubbs were hip and ultra cool. The good guys- modern day gunslingers- doing battle on the neon streets of sun soaked Miami, just trying to earn a living and make some semblance of sense out of THE MADNESS OF IT ALL.

It’s funny, but for some reason, your description of M.V. Makes me think of an animated version of it. It can be rebooted or or show some of the original episodes. Someone with your talent, experience and connections could make it happen. Who knows, it could make prime time.( Friday night 10 pm NBC

@@charlesortolani7151 I appreciate your feedback but it's been 33 years now since VICE went off the air. I don't know if we can capture that fire again. That's why I wrote MIAMI VICE THE BEGINNING. I took it all the way back to 1983 and The Calderones are still alive! I figured some new blood for a once beloved TV show.
