the cool part about this game was it did it right for all the factions and they did the whole Deamon prince ascension years ago and now we have games that offer just a fraction of the story and choices you could nearly 20 years later great video game and video keep up the great work

I remember the final mission of this game. I put a bunch of flagellants outside of the gate while keeping my entire army inside the gates. Every single one of the flagellants died, but held the line. Never even needed the rest of my troops. Krieg-tier self sacrifice.

One thing I'd give to this game over the tie-in novel (which somehow even got the antagonist wrong! Can't they swapp the names after Sega solified the plot at least?) is that, they actually realized the Reikguard Knight wasn't a thing until Emperor Wilhelm III, some 120 years Magnus' coronation. So, while you still get to use Reiksguard Knight in the skirmish mode, in the campaign, they are called "Reiklander Guards" -- a legally distinct entity
