He was a favorite of mine growing up my mom and his mom used to work together at a place in el segundo called IR . His mom was awesome every time I’d go visit

I always felt like the Warlords potential was wasted by various promoters.

Umm why….?? He absolutely reached his potential.

@@marcbasil As a booker, I would have had him stretching a lot so he would not be so stiff. However, this was the 80's and early 90's size ruled and he was bigger than just about anyone. He had the look and could have been a mega star. He was certainly better than a mid card guy.

@@Bellthorian “as a Booker I would’ve had him stretching a lot” LLOOLLLLL. You absolutely have to be pulling legs, that was absolutely hysterical to read Also, he had zero talent. No psychology & couldn’t talk whatsoever, as is evident in these shoot interviews. His accent alone is atrocious. He had one of the greatest physiques of all time, which literally everyone acknowledges. Outside of aesthetics, he had zero going for him. He got into rasslin for the money

@@marcbasil And what's wrong with that? Anyone who doesn't get into wrestling for the money is an idiot. How is his accent 'atrocious'? What, do you mark accents from around the world out of ten? I guess he should have exactly the same accent as you, right? I've seen a lot worse than the Warlord. He was a decent athlete with a world class look, his promos were at least intelligible and he was safe in the ring.

Batista: "When I was a kid, Warlord was absolutely my favorite wrestler and it was because he was the most immense human being I had ever seen in my life, he was massive. I was just awestruck by him. I was mesmerized by him."

How much did road warrior hawk bench any know?
@nbaldwin454 ай бұрын
I heard 505, which is probably believable. He was nowhere near as strong as Animal or the Powers of Pain but he was a beast and was just as big and strong as the Ultimate Warrior or Lex Luger IMO
