Ok, my broken record request…Dany’s solo acoustic cover of Halestorm’s Break In during a Dany Day session. You will absolutely love it being an acoustic player yourself and Dany shows just vocally talented she truly is. It’s one of those Gem recordings kind of like another one to watch from a Pau Day. She called it a mini- concert comprised of 3 songs all on piano, Black Holes, Stalker, and abbreviated The End. The stand out song though and as far as I know the only piano & Pau lead recording is Stalker.(another Gem). The Montreal one you have on hand is also a must see. Just try to get to the other two I referenced because since they were originally on Patreon/Instagram, they didn’t circulate as frequently so there are still many who still may not have seen them. ⚠️⚡️⚡️⚡️

Hi Ashlena. Fellow Toronto show attendee here. Something I think you would enjoy are the Dakota bar and Whiskey a Go Go. The mix at the Dakota bar is excellent and you would hear some songs you haven’t heard before. The Whiskey show is just a notch below in quality but still very good. Another great performance is Ugh , pronounced like mug, from the Rebel lounge. I know your feelings about fan videos but this particular one is top notch in black and white and just flat out Rock and Roll. I know you would enjoy it and it is a favorite of many of TWA. Thanks for your great reactions 🤘🔥🫶

Dany uses the same position and shapes for her most of her power chords and has smooth alternating picking during her arpeggio's. Her play style reminds me of something my guitar teacher once told me; keep it simple so your changes are easier. Play smart and don't complicate it for yourself. She kind of personifies that and is a smart guitar player. I'd love to check back in another 10 years and see how far she's progressed. Her solo's are simple and clean but that's one area where I would love to see her keep advancing in.

I love Dany’s melodic solo style as do most people but we must all understand that they will most likely always be shorter solos as a 3 piece. They just don’t seem willing to compromise a song for the sake of having a solo just to have a solo.
@ratpwn9 ай бұрын
Yeah I think length of a solo doesn't really matter. I like that they keep them short and I think they show a great deal of restraint by only putting in solos when they feel like it complements a song. @@mjc1389

If I recall, that's the radio interview where Dany was resting her voice. Pau killed it. One of the DJs says, "That's your drummer?" He didn't know she's also the lead singer on some songs and co-leads on others. Ya gotta love radio announcers who do no research on the subjects they research... (not). If they had had a keyboard, and Pau played *Show Me the Light* after *Money,* some of their jaws would have hit the floor. This band has so much range...

FYI: "Z"(not zed)was originally called Generation Z, shortened to Gen Z, and finally just "Z". The lyrics are aimed at the Gen Z kids. Every video is golden, even if you have heard the song 100 times, you will always find something new in every concert tour video. Even reactors see things never mentioned before and when we think we know it all, we find out we are flawed, imperfect. And that's okay...we're only human.
