As a recovering addict (1 1/2 years clean) this song is the most touching song I’ve ever heard. I started using drugs at 12 years old and struggled with addiction my whole life. At 51 years of age I finally gave up. I had nothing more to give. Nothing mattered. Family, friends, music, my kids, jobs or life in general. I just wanted the pain to stop. Out of desperation I made a phone call and checked myself into a rehab for 30 days. 1 1/2 years later I’m still fighting every day to stay clean. But it’s a battle I’m willing to fight. Now, all those things that didn’t matter do. I sit hear commenting on this video with tears running down my cheeks. I am so glad I found this band and this song. Pau’s delivery of this song is pure emotion. The maturity level of a song this touching is just amazing. Thank you for this amazing gift. God bless all of you and God bless The Warning.

I've been clean (drugs & alcohol) since 1995. It's an ongoing struggle. I don't miss the hangovers. But I miss getting high. No one can do it except yourself. It's what's inside you. That *Black Hole* that will never leave you. *And that's the ongoing struggle.* Living with that *Black Hole.* It gets easier in time. *You can do it. One day at a time.*

I fight it every day its been 8 years now. I started drinking myself into a stupor every night after getting home from desert storm .. i never wanted wanted to sleep dream again, drinking stopped working eventually and i switched to other things, the dreams never stopped though eventually I came to the conclusion that the only thing that I could change was me, keep fighting it gets a little better.

I wholeheartedly agree with your statement Jay. I usually don't comment but this song rings true to me so much. As a recovering addict of 21 years, it makes me wonder how she was able to interpret her version of someone struggling with addiction. It does feel as if you're being sucked into a black hole of oblivion. Amazing for this young woman songwriter. Whoever's idea it was to have a storytelling event was brilliant. It's my mission in life to see these amazingly talented artists live someday

As someone whom has had many battles with addiction this song gives me chills. I remember when I was falling 100 mph trying desperately to cling to anything and everything to help brace my fall. It ultimate cost me many thing including a sweet and beautiful little brunette that gave me all of her love yet it was just never enough to fill that hole in my heart caused by my addictions. Luckily I found music in my life and that changed everything for me when I poured my heart and soul into the 6 strings of a Gibson Les Paul. That aside Paulina's voice is so completely haunting and beautiful and you can tell she really feels this song throughput every inch of her soul. Outstanding job ladies!

Look how the music industry vendor's,have taken a liken to The Warning's, sound!! That is a major plus in their early development!! Yeah, giving instruments to this Great Band, is a great thing!! Because they know The Warning, is worth the risk!!! Now the song "Black Holes," is a True Hard Rocking Ballad, that fits like a glove in the band's arsenal!!! A truly beautiful song that defines that this band is not one dimensional! And far from it!! Viva The Warning!!!

This is my favorite Warning song. It's deep and thought provoking. It's also a joy to the ears -- Pau's passionate singing and beautiful piano playing, Dany's sweet guitar playing with the soft harmonics and ringing delay echos and Ale's bass notes that range from soft and gentle to pounding thunder. Me and my dad go through youtube looking people who play music and watch all types of styles and talent. Until one day my dad called me over to see these 3 girls playing songs from metallica and i was blown away cus metallica songs are not easy. Then i see the negative comments about their accent and most of them was about that. Well it got me mad and upset that cus someone has an accent someone would have the audacity to point it out and put them down, no that doesnt fly with me, and to those who criticize how bad they play well go eat crow and if your a musicial making fun of these girls you should be ashamed. Musicians should have respect for other artist no matter if they are beginner novice moderate or pro. Musicians help and encoure others not hurt them. I play a guitar and piano, use to play trumpet in school but got bored with it. I first taught myself to play piano and learned three songs but right after i learned to play guitar. I bought a first act from wal mart and learned 3 chords. I was working one night at wal mart playing on my break and a manager asked me to hook up my amp im like huh, he said hook it up. So i did. I knew i was walking in a lions den cus i knew nothing really so i just played 3 chords and some people were cheering me on some were making fun of me but it didnt bother me cus i expected it and thought to myself just need some songs to learn and said to myself ill get u guys bach just waist. A month later im learning songs i thought were easy by ear like just wait by blues traveler and unforgiven metallica. I was getting better by the month and later i would play at the parking lot and people would gather around and watch. Some would tip me,i even had offers from church groups and this local tejano band to join them. Now i admitt ive come a long way and gotten pretty good but these girls are really good. You girls are awesome dont let negative people get you down be proud of your accent and your style of music. Not too many cant sing and play or let alone sing or play anything, i know i cant sing... Well not good but theres one song by mazzy star i can sing to called fade into you. But yeah dont stop play you girls are great dont stop, have fun. Im sorry if this is a little lenghthy 😄

their best song! I've been there and they got it! when Dany holds that high note at the end, it breaks me up each and every time! bless you Pau, you get it! I love how Ale covers the bass drum and holds down the bottom! as I said, their best song!

Yo he tocado guitarra desde high school. A mi hija de 17 años le he comprado on ukelele, un piano eléctrico, y un piano acústico ( usado). Lo que sea para que aprenda a amar crear música. Sin duda tienen tremendos padres. Me encanta su música. Éxito!

Hadn't seen this version. Lovely. I think the 5 versions I've seen lead me to believe I will need at least 500 more takes before I'm ready to let this one go. It lives in all of our hearts, everyone who's ever suffered, loved, lost, or just loved music and Pau (those are same thing).
