I was about to comment that. That verse is so emotional and big part of it is that bass line. I just love it so much at 1:38 when Danny sings "It's cold but this where I'll stay" and Ale plays that low note on the B string it hits so hard, and the guitar comes in with so much feeling and she goes "comfortably in pain"... God, it kills me!

Dany's performance here is historic among female Rock singers, and on the level of Patti Smith or even Janis Joplin. The difference is that compared to the unpredictable/inconsistent Smith, Dany does it every time. With Joplin, she was in so much real pain, it was inevitable that she would leave us early. Dany appears to be a well-grounded, intelligent, happy individual, who will be making audiences happy for decades.

Right, but it's because of those stories, the tragic stories of all those artists that these ladies somehow learned from, not to do, they are so grounded on that fact that drugs and addiction destroy people, literally, and even then there will be temptations, I don't like how they look up to people like willow Smith, those nepotism products are fucked up, that entire culture, those families have serious mental issues, and honestly these ladies are way more talented than someone like willow.

My favorite part of the Metropolitan releases is their authenticity. The subtle pitch variations that could have been messed with in post-production are left alone. No live vocal can be 100% perfect every single second, especially since the band is emitting incredible energy while playing…but that’s what makes them human, and even more amazing. Everything about that was absolute class! Ale is already a master at driving a song with her bass lines, Pau is top class as always, her playing is superb. Lets talk about Dany....she is a phenomenal talent. Her guitar playing is superb, switching from lead to rythym and back again with ease, not just here but on all songs. She is great with a crowd and knows how to keep them engaged...but her vocals are in a different league altogether now. Dany Villarreal is easily up there with the best frontwomen in rock. These 3 young ladies were born to do this and to be honest I feel priveledged that I am able to witness their continous rise to the top.

This is the song that hooked me on The Warning because of the lyrics, then I explored other of their songs and found that all have deep lyrics. Then I learned that these lyrics were written by girls in elementary and early high school, since growing and evolving as they do. As a child of rock, as it was in the late sixties and early seventies, I have never heard rock lyrics of such high calibre since then. The Warning caused me to take my entire mental and emotional catalogue of twentieth century rock and place it with love in a room in the library of my memory palace. I've started a new wing for 21st century music. Right now, The Warning occupy most of the space there, but there's room for much more.

Excelente, mi música preferida es la mal llamada “clásica” y el rock clásico, ya saben Zeppelin, Sabah…. pero sobretodo Pink Floyd… súper fan de los Guns y eso… recientes Radiohead y todas sus derivaciones Muse, desde luego, pero escuchar esto… en una época en la que otros géneros poco afortunados para el arte abarcan las masas…. es súper increíble, reconfortante y esperanzador!!!!! Más si consideramos que se trata de jóvenes y mujeres las que toman la batuta en todo ello. Muchas gracias y muchas felicidades a estas magníficas Chicas!!!!!!!! Ah, se me olvidaba…. son mexicanas!!!!!!! Son un orgullo!!!!!!
