Fun story. I saw them open for Halestorm in San Antonio, and was blown away by how good they were. The tour had a day off between that show and the next show in Corpus Christi, and I was listening to them all day while running errands and on my way to work that night. I work at a restaurant, and I got seated a table of 5 shortly before being cut from the floor. Immediately I thought to myself “Man, these girls look like The Warning”, but I wasn’t too sure, and I wasn’t about to just ask “Hey, are you ladies in a rock band?”. Fast forward and I overhear one of the people talking about when they were in New Orleans (the city the tour was in the night before San Antonio) Joe (I assumed of Halestorm) tell him about some metal bar. At that point I’m like “Ok, yeah, it’s them”. So I waited until the end of the meal and said “I’m sorry, this is a little unprofessional of me, but you ladies are The Warning, right?” They seemed almost shocked that somebody would recognize them, but also super appreciative that somebody did indeed recognize them. I told them that I was at the show the night before, and was in the front row. We all talked for a while, and they were all super cool and nice. But of all of the places to go to eat in San Antonio, and of all of the servers that were working that night…they end up in the section of the only person who was at their show the night before or would know who they were. Such a small world.

YES, Pau is an incredible dummer and also the main writer in the group. Pau is the one that starts the writing process for most songs and then they work together to flush out the music and lyrics, with 1 or 2 exceptions that Dany might have written on her own. EDIT: Dany has written More than 2 songs and Ale has also contributed lyrics... but my main point still hold Pau does the BULK of the writting. Thanks to Eduardo and Brian for being stiklers for accuracy!

Check out The Sixsters (6 girls) from Ukraine. They are following The Warning and it is obvious. They bow to the crowd at the end, they have a song called No Name that ends with an Ale like bass solo, they do the finger hearts, they do live streams and their drummer started at 6 years old after her dad noticed her great rhythm and they are also very good musicians. They 12 to 17 years old and are releasing their third album which is gonna be all English next month I believe. Watch them live and they also have some pretty crazy videos. They are currently in Germany because they fled Ukraine and sometimes they play live with only 4 members because 2 had to go back to Ukraine for family emergencies so they need our support. They want to tour America and said they would love to do that with The Warning.

This is the greatest GenZ rock band in the world right now, imho, as a 50+ year old professional musician who's classical but also played in bands much of my life. This is everything great about 70s/80s/90s rock all mixed into a new flavour... and the fact that it's a power trio is awesome (my favorite setup) and the fact that it's all female is just awesome for the times! And they are EXTREMELY good role models for the younger generation, and hell for older generations also.

I think they have quite a bit of 2000s rock and metal in their sound, too. They really seem incorporate pieces from almost anything in rock or metal. What's cool is that their vocals make them distinct enough that I'm pretty sure I could tell it was them if I stumbled across a new song from them despite the fact that they hop around sub-genres so much.

Only discovered them a month ago, despite the fact I see now that 2014 video has been in my thumbnails forever. Saw their name in comments, embarrassingly agist actually and probably a little sexist when it comes to Rock. Finally clicked on it and the second tiny 12-year-old Pau hit those drums my eyes snapped and WTF came out my mouth. Down the rabbit hole I went. It was the Welcome to Jungle first time I heard GNR on the radio 30 years ago. They are talking telling you what they think in their music. Not the first, but Rock had a problem with lot of juvenile lyrics, it has infected almost every genre now. There is zero fat in their lyrics and no safe space. Like the lady said they shift harmonies on a word, you expect Dany to trail high and she instead drops off a cliff to a low flat. I didn't know why I loved this song just knew I did. Got thank her for explaining it. David Bendeth said they learn everything and they listen but when it comes to their lyrics, they will not change its like you're encircled by a Pride of Lionesses yelling at you in Spanish. You have the nicest girl in the world who is the leader, the super excitable genius, who is a little fun to tweak, and the one that scares you a little bit. The Warning brought me out of a musical coma, and has led me to many other great young bands you never hear about, but they are out there. That might be my favorite thing about them.

"They feel fresh." - @The Charismatic Voice. These young ladies are the breath of fresh air I have been waiting nearly 30 years for in Rock. To me, the thing that I enjoy the most is that every song is unique. They don't write strictly to fit a genre, they write each song as its own creation with whatever it needs to be the best. It never ceases to amaze me about The Warning that as young as they are (currently 22, 20, and 17) they have been writing and composing all of their own music for nearly 7 years now. The really fun part to that though is that they are still learning and growing musicians who will only keep adding new things to their music in the future. I hope you can find some time in your schedule to listen to some more of their music in the future. I know a lot of other folks here have been throwing out their favorite The Warning songs, but honestly you can't go wrong with any of them. If you want to hear them in Spanish, Narcisista features Paulina singing and Martirio with Daniella singing are available and amazing songs. Bendeth also pushed Ale to switch to 5-string bass. She was considering it anyway, because some of their songs prior to Mayday/Error required drop D or even drop C#... and on the bass, the E-string can be a bit sloppy when tuned down 3 half steps, but Bendeth gave her the final nudge.

Elizabeth, you will hear an abundance of nontraditional aspects of harmonic and melodic movement and structure in The Warning's music. All three have a deep understanding of it, due to their classical piano training at very early ages. They also received (and took extremely seriously) their music theory education during an intense five-week youth program at Berklee College of Music. THAT'S why their songwriting prowess far exceeds that of many (if not most) of their contemporaries; some twice their ages! Their songwriting and sense of melody and melodic rhythm is simply astounding!

The Warning are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 17) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 19) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 21) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band. They had been uploading their musical journey to KZbin for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsing for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA. They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues. In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. This was recorded live in June 2019 at Foro Didi in Monterrey Mx (their hometown) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWiscnieg5mFg68 The Warning is totally fan-funded through Patreon, KZbin and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever! So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City. This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on KZbin and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star. On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. All that remains as of 22/02/21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end of 2021. In March of 2021 The Warning was invited to cover a song from Metallica's eponymous 5th album (The Black Album) with Canadian Grammy and Juno award winning pop star Alessia Cara for Metallica's Blacklist album. A 30th anniversary celebration for the Metallica album. They selected to record Enter Sandman, a fitting song because it was this song that propelled The Warning 7 years previous into stardom. The Warning reimagined the song with Alessia and produced a fresh new feeling that goes above and beyond what others have done with the song... On May 21 2021 they released the single "Choke" to critical acclaim kzbin.info/www/bejne/ip2yqmOOl6uJoq8 . Followed by a new release roughly every month through to Sept. On October 8th, 2021, The Warning released six songs that were recorded for the new album on an EP titled Mayday with the remaining 6 songs to be released at a later date. Starting on the 18th of Feburary 2022 The Warning started out on their previously twice cancelled North American Mayday Tour. Their forst show was on Saltillo Mx followed by a short set openning for Mammoth WVH in Las Vegas, NV and another short set opening for Sammy Hagar in Austin Tx at the SXSW Festival. In Mexico City on March 18, The Warning got to open So now you've been WARNED! I hope you will check out more of their music and see how they have grown. Thank you so much for reacting to The Warning, Elizabeth! You mentioned vocal harmonies at the end and another new song of theirs, REVENANT, has amazing vocal harmonies from Dany and Ale and great lead vocals from Pau. You are correct that all 3 of them sing and all 3 play the piano as well. The videos of them playing piano and their instruments of choice when they were younger will warm your heart ❤. They do not have a single bad song in their catalog of over 40 originals, every song has great songwriting and musicianship. Pau and Dany share the lead vocals in some of their songs like: DISCIPLE and Sinister Smiles, and Ale doesn't like to sing lead but sometimes she does live when Dany isn't feeling well. They are not only extremely talented but more importantly they have determination and a great work ethic along with being wonderful people. Like The Warning would say, YOU’VE BEEN WARNED! Lol Lzzy had been wanting to tour with them since 2020 but the pandemic happened. I had a ticket for the show in Dallas but I didn’t make it. Gave the ticket to a buddy. That show was the one that Lzzy gifted Dani a Gibson Explorer guitar. I was so mad for not seeing that live. These young ladies will dominate the world pretty soon. Thanks for your reaction. It’s always fun to see new people get hooked to The Warning. I and the rest of The Warning Army will be waiting for another TW reaction.

The cover of Creep by Pau (drummer) is truly worth watching. She would learn and play (on piano + singing) a song suggested by fans, and Creep won. She released an awesome rendition on youtube a couple of hours later

Finally! Hey Elizabeth, your channel was probably the one that made me start watching reaction videos. You made me truly discover Nightwish. I became a fan of them and you have a huge impact on it. Then it was a journey that lead me to discover The Warning. I don’t think I’ve never been a fan this passionate. Now it is great to see you doing reactions to them. Oh I’ve been waiting for this reaction for so long. I am really excited for this video. They are truly amazing. Can’t wait for you to invite them for a tea 😉 Thank you!🫶

That special chord/baseline you pointed out is not very usual but also not really new. It was (to my knowledge) Black Sabbath who introduced that chord to the heavy rock world, giving it a phrygic vibe. Standing out in a great track is the odd meter (7/8?) riff, the chord progression through 5 minor thirds after the breakdown, creating kind of a dimished chord of chords, which I never heard somewhere else - and the Roger Daltrey like shout by Pau while simultaneously venting her inner Keith Moon. They definitely play like they won't get fooled too easily. Great band.

"The Warning is easily the best hard rock band active at the moment!" The Warning and Band-Maid. If you haven't heard of Band-Maid yet, check them out. Both bands are very talented. The bassist and drummer in Band-Maid are particularly insane. I would suggest the live recording they have of Onset, even though that one doesn't have any lyrics. Some other good suggestions of their songs to try...maybe Dice, The Non-Fiction Days, and Different.

The Warning are not known for crazy vocals like say Jinjer or Nightwish, but they all sing quite well and what they are best at is harmonies and songwriting in general. You'll find that the drummer Pau is often doing backing vocals underneath the main vocals from the guitarist Dany.

@@nahadoth2087 The fact that she's not interested in singing lead is well known because she has stated this herself over and over. She never said that she is not interested being part of discussions or interviews. The fact that she doesn't speak as much gives people the impression that she's shy but on the other hand it seems that she's the sister with the best knowledge of the English language. She never appears unwilling or uncomfortable to answer any questions aimed at her. Asking her questions is not breaking up the dynamics between the sisters. What is really weird is that some people seem to think that.

GOD. THIS BAND MEANS A LOT IN MY LIFE. YOU HAVE A HUGE LIST OF SONGS, ONE BETTER THAN THE OTHER. DANY USUALLY SINGS ALL THE SONGS. BUT ALSO THE DRUMMER PAULINA (PAU) SINGS IN MANY SONGS. AND ALE RARELY SINGS IN THE LEAD VOICE, LET'S SAY WE WILL NEVER SEE HER BEING THE FRONTWOMAN UNLESS DANY CAN'T SING BECAUSE OF A COLD OR SOMETHING AFFECTING HIS VOICE. THE 3 ARE GODDESSES OF ROCK. BEHIND THIS BAND THERE IS A BEAUTIFUL STORY TO KNOW. UFF!, I AM EXCITED TO WRITE THIS COMMENT, I HAVE TEARS. IT WOULD BE INCREDIBLE FOR YOU TO DO A TALK OR INTERVIEW WITH ALL 3, LIKE YOU DID WITH DEVIN T, WILL R OR G CASTELLUCCI.

@@Minixi-qr5nw but of course. obviously. I would love for her to make an EP or whatever with 3 songs (at least) completely sung by her, to the surprise of everyone. She clearly has a very beautiful voice, just like her sisters, only, I think she didn't reveal much of herself. but I know that she can, let's say she is a diamond in the rough and needs to be polished more. It would be the total masterpiece of the warning, remember that she is A LETHAL WEAPON. Obviously I don't lose hope. my comment about Ale was based on what she said.

The story of The Warning is almost a fairy tale where they are not the princesses but they are the fairies and they bring the gift of music. At his young age, his musical curriculum is truly impressive and is the envy of many. Instinct and his musical sense pushed by a natural talent only compose good music, songs that over time will be a reference and anthems of rock and roll.
