Pau wrote, performed, recorded and produced 'Breathe', as the bonus track for their 'Error' album. She said that she would *never* perform it live, because it was so emotional for her. A few weeks ago, we were given the honor of seeing Pau perform it as a surprise performance at their Pepsi Center show, celebrating the band's 10th anniversary. If you get emotional from this one, that one is much, much more powerful. I can't wait for an official release of that moment. It is one of my very favorite songs.

As all of TWA knows, at the recent Pepsi Center concert in Mexico City, she performed Black Holes at the piano with the strings and then surprised everyone with Breathe. Someone posted a photo of one of the setlist sheets from the Pepsi Center concert. The Black Holes entry read "Black Holes / B" trying to keep it as a surprise.

I don’t remember Pau sharing when she wrote Breathe. As others have said, she never planned on it being recorded let alone released to the public. I have a copy of the lyrics for it, hand written by Pau. Its one of my prized possessions. It effected me more than any other song on Error. Most of their songs are great at hyping you up, or lifting your spirits. Breathe is a foundational song. It gives you the strength to persevere when everything has gone to hell. In the depths of whatever misery life brings, there will be something awaiting you there, that allows you to gather your courage to start climbing out of the pit. Breathe is the reminder that we are stronger than we think we are. Thank you Pau for sharing this intimate and powerful part of your personality with us. There is a reason she is my musical hero. 🤟🏻

I’m not ashamed to say that, though I have seen this concert a couple dozen times, every time Breathe plays and the crowd joins in marking the moment with their phones I tear up. Music can take hold of you. The Warning’s music takes hold, pulls you closer, and then you feel the energy of a few million amps of pure love and joy rush through you. They have a gift and thankfully they’re sharing it.

*Breathe* (recording) was played while they left to changed their outfits. Their record label asked them for another song for the album *Error.* Pau recorded this song on their home piano. Stating she will never play it live. On October 28, 2023 in front of 7,000 fans at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City. Pau played *Breathe* after she played *Black Holes.* Pau broke down when she was finished. Since most of the audience was singing with her.

Lately, they have been opening their shows with "Disciple". It works. I think I prefer "Z" to begin a show, though. That crowd participation for "Breathe" is incredible. I don't think I have ever seen an audience respond to a recorded track like that. They used the song for the intermission while the ladies were changing their outfits from all back to white. It worked well. But TW had proposed to perform the entire Error Album at the shows and Breathe, the bonus track on the album, became the only song they didn't do as a live performance. The recording was actually done in their home on a Spinnet piano that is notoriously slightly out of tune (that lends character) that Pau uses when she composes most of their music. At their Pepsi Center show a couple of weeks ago Pau performed "Breathe" live for the first time ever while playing the piano. Previously, she said she would never do the song live because it is so emotional for her. But she made an exception because at that show they had sold out the venue so before 8000+ people, she made the exception. The crowd helped her to make it through the song to the end. I don't know if we will ever see her play the song again.

Dude, that song gets me EVERY time. Ok, truth is Pau gets me EVERY time she touches a piano. She’s chairman & CEO of Feels Inc. ‘Breathe’ is off their last album. Pau recorded it at home on the living room upright piano (as seen in ‘Creep’).

My understanding of Breathe is that Pau wrote it about a Friend that she lost, and it hits her hard. She tried to do it last week, but she broke down towards the end.

Just talent in overload....the song Breath is from Pau...does not want to do it live...so much meaning to her and so sad. Great interlude while the ladies take a break and change their outfits for the second halve of this monumental concert...coming out in all White next. Pau did decide to do this live at the Pepsi concert recently, with a string instrument back up....she broke down at the end...hard for her to sing, it is her song and very emotional to her. It hit me looking at the empty stage like a ton of bricks - we are do blessed to see them live and we need to appreciate it!! Glad I subscribed and really enjoying this Warning journey! Almost forgot to mention that the lyrics in Disciple are insanely good political commentary it just gets lost behind their amazing musical genius 😊

Disciple was the first song I saw and it's my fav because I still remember how awestruck I was. They start with Ale's killer Bass then Pau's Pauer drumming, to Dany's insane riff in the crab stanch. Sharing the lead vocals and with Ale's incredible backing vocals ya a true banger. 🤘Breathe at the intermission was brilliant and emotional. Watching her actually sing it recently was over the top emotional so much so that she broke down and 8000 people finished the song for her. Probably the most beautiful rock concert moments I've ever seen. I'm 65 and I've seen tons of concerts and I can't wait for TW official release of those shows. Black Holes and Breathe back to back with an orchestra 😢 will be too much for me to handle. Bring the tissues. Great reaction the next half of the show is awesome too starting with Dust to Dust and Pau taking lead vocals. ⚡🔥⚡🔥⚡

Nice Reaction! Pau has a gift with her voice when she sings songs like this one, Black Holes, Revenant and Escape the Mind. She can really bring out emotion in the listener. When she sang this song in Mexico City (Pepsi Center) a few weeks ago it was so emotional. The whole crowd was singing the song and Pau broke down at the end. There is only cell phone video's to listen to now, but everybody is hoping they recorded the concert and will release video's from it.

Excellent reaction, as always. Breathe gets to many of us. I've heard it dozens of times and still well up. As I understand it, Pau got home after they had pretty much put their most recent album (Error) to bed and knocked it out on the family spinet, recording it on her phone. They added some subtle in-reverse licks to the recording she had made and added it to Error as the last track. Breathe is deeply personal to Pau, reflecting on the death of a friend when she was 13. Pau told Lava she'd never perform it live, although she did play it on their 10th anniversary concert in CDMX. She didn't quite make it to the oh-oh-oh at the end, but seeing it live (or a live recording) is heart-wrenching.

"Breathe" is all Pau. She has said she just cannot sing this one live, because it breaks her. She recently sang it for the first time ever live, in Monterrey, for her home crowd. So, they used it recorded, as a break in the show, for outfit change (and probably to breathe and hydrate).

Nice, it is a recording of breathe during the break, Pau recently performed it live for the first time and got very emotional at the end of the performance.. I will not watch it until they release an official video of it but I am excited to know it is likely coming. Pau wrote it and performed it on the old out of tune piano at her home and they added it to the Evolbe albun as a bonus track.

Breathe was the intermission song and yes it was prerecorded as Pau at the time said she would never sing the song live as it was too emotional for her. Well, she did sing this song live at the concert they did a couple weeks ago and it was so emotional. Pau broke down and could not sing the last lines of the song and the audience sang it for her. We will wait to see if she sings this live again, but I highly doubt it as it is emotional for her to sing. Great reaction and both Disciple and Breathe were on their last album. Breathe was a bonus track they added when the producer said they needed one more song. Pau then added this song she wrote years ago to the new album, so yes, it was written years ago and was supposed to never be released, but they needed another song to fill out the album so Pau added Breathe to the album.

genial reacción y si, BREATHE es una canción muy emotiva y triste y por cierto muy querida por los fans de la banda, alguna vez paulina dijo que nunca la cantaría en vivo la canción por que le afecta mucho, la letra es muy profunda y se siente muy expuesta al interpretarla, pero en su presentación en el PEPSI CENTER a finales del anterior mes paulina se animo a cantarla en vivo con su piano y fue muy hermoso y emotivo y hasta se puso a llorar al final, tienes que reaccionar ante el video aunque si, la presentación esta en varios videos de youtube así que no es tan buena la grabación... 🤘🤘
