I literally have not missed a single day for over six years in which I have listened to or watched a video of these amazing young sisters. In my almost 62 years of life I have never been so into a band as I am these young ladies. The more we hear from The Warning, the more I come to believe it is literally impossible for the sisters to put out anything subpar! I have been saying for many years now that they would one day be known world wide and be recognized as one of, if not the greatest power trio of all time, eclipsing even the greatest power trios to date in Rush, Cream, The Police, Muse, Jimi Hendrix, Grand Funk Railroad. I know this is a bold statement, but I am absolutely 100% convinced of this! As you see here, they are well on their way to bringing that prediction to fruition. The Mayday EP consists of six songs. Disciple, Choke, Animosity, Evolve, Z and their only song on the EP in Spanish Martirio. This is half of the entire twelve song third album. The rest should drop in 2022 when they can tour with it. Animosity and Z have no music video but the audio is available on KZbin.

This is awesome, however my favourite song from this EP is "Animosity" ! If I was to sum that song up in one word it would be; "STRONG" ! The bass in it is strong. The guitar is strong. Pau's drumming is aways strong, but above all, the lyrics.....I mean....talk about STRONG and DARK lyrics ! Holy Moses, I literally love everything about this song, I LOVE it !!

If you get a chance to watch the most recent “Dany Day” video, it lends some background to the song. She talks about the making of this song and how it was always intended as a duet with Dany playing the antagonist and Pau essentially reciting back what she said - blindly following like disciples. I love watching their Dany/Pau/Ale Day videos because you learn a lot about the making of and mentality behind their songs - plus they’re just fun to watch off-stage.

Sounds to me that this is a calling to break free from our addictive reliance on information presented on screens that feed us whatever the algorithms decide for us to consume. (updated) I have since heard others say that Paulina has said that this song is denouncing all the hate and aggression on social media and how some networks and individuals benefit from it. It is also about how they hide behind pseudonyms of hate. That´s so typical The Warning. They do their thing, deliver the gods and then leave the building. Leaving us wanting more. TW never overdo it. Dany´s solos are exactly what´s needed. Like a recipe. I think you missed their new Enter Sandman cover for Metallica's Blacklist album that features Canadian pop star Alessia Cara and Martirio their Spanish song. Their EP, Mayday was released on the 8th of Oct. and includes Choke, Evolve, Martirio and Disciple along with two others, Animosity and Z. They have another 6 song that were recorded with the Mayday songs that will be released next year ahead of (hopefully) a new tour. I suspect that if they're watching reactors on KZbin that they have heard how good they could be by listening to some of the Japanese all female bands, Band Maid, Lovebites, Nemophila, Gacharic Spin etc. Certainly are improving.

Humm, I love these Japanese Bands, especially Lovebites. Its really fun to listen to them, not to forget Band Maid and Babymetal. But, to be honest, its mostly about speed, speed, speed and choreography. If a song is starting, I already know how it will end. This is totally different with The Warning. Always expect the unexpected.
