I will definitely be doing many more reactions to The Warning. I typically put up 2 reactions a day. Next week I'm going to put up 1 The Warning reaction out each day. Thanks for taking a look at The Warning! Paulina (the drummer) actually sings lead on a couple of songs per album while still drumming furiously, in addition to duets and backup vocals. They also frequently switch lead between her and Dany. Anything, literally anything you listen to by them is great. From their channel, grab anything from Teatro Metropolitan - 'Animosity', 'Error', 'Money', etc.

Tim you have officially been Warned!!! Dany (23) is the guitarist, Pau (21) is the drummer and Ale (18) is the bassist. They are celebrating 10 years as a band and their 4th album is due anytime. The Warning write great lyrics and deliver them with their unique style of rock, which I find has an infectious sound. I have seen them live 4 times and can't wait for my next concert. They are much better live than in the studio. Their harmonies are the added feature which sets them apart.

All of The Warning's songs are outstanding. Their concert at Teatro Metropolitan is just out of this world, in terms of sound quality and videography. They sold out the venue, with over 3,000 fans at the show, fairly quickly, so they announced a second performance, a few days later and that one immediately sold out, as well. On the 28th of October, they are playing at Mexico City's Pepsi Center, where they have sold out the 8,000 seat venue- no surprise, really. These ladies are so talented that it is absolutely insane. They've played more shows than many mainstream bands have and they're just getting started. Well- they're 10 years in, now, but at this young age, they could have a lot more years to go, in the industry. I'm going to keep this short, but rest assured that they are THE up and coming act in rock, at the moment. They recently played at the 2023 MTV Music Video Awards, here in the US, as well as the MTV awards ceremony in Mexico. Just yesterday, they were again featured in Rolling Stone magazine (online) and the list of amazing moments and accolades is, again, insane. Thanks for a great reaction. You're in for a treat. They all sing and have great voices and knows how to play their instruments at high levels.. Dany the older sister and the guitarist sings most of the songs and Pau the middle sister and drummer has great lead songs… Ale is youngest and the bass player, im hoping one day she has her own song.. but most of The Warning Army(fans) repeatedly say their live work is better than the audio tracks and the band has realized that as well🤘they are currently touring but have toured all over playing sold out shows… also played with some of the best well known bands like Halestorm Foo Fighters Muse Guns N Roses and more.. Metallica has invited them to be apart of their 30 Anniversary Album to do their own version of Enter Sandman knowing they crush this song back when they were kids almost 10 years ago.. it’s literally a long list of great things to say about this band…nothing bad at all

I just saw The Warning live last Saturday and it was almost my second outer body experience. No video whether live or official come close to the actual experience. Even though all three were under the weather they were incredible, true artist giving their all for their fans whom they call extended family. Tim, Welcome to The Warning and their fan base The Warning Army (TWA). Best live band I've ever experienced. You think the live videos show everything, but they don't convey the energy you feel at a live show. Its hard to describe but lets say once you see them live you're checking their touring schedule to find out when you can see them again. I had quit going to live shows and quit listening to rock on the radio since the early 2000s. I saw TW for the first time last year in Florida. 5 days later I drove to Dallas to see them again. In the last year and a half I've seen them 5 times and thats nothing compared to some TWA members. The best thing is that they're very down to earth people and treat their fans like family. Welcome to TWA and You've Been Warned!. I would suggest Disciple next. Any of their songs from this Teatro Metropolitan show are great. They don't make bad or filler music. By the way, as someone else mentioned, your video is running about half a second to a second behind your audio. That was both your video and the video of TW. Sometimes you have to fiddle with OBS to get everything synced. Look forward to your next TW reaction.

Just an added tidbit: This is their encore to a performance in Mexico City that to me at least had all the feel of Ceasar parading thru Rome after his conquest of Gaul. OK, maybe a bit much, but it was The Warning, in CDMX after their conquest of the US, so ... When you consider that this song is performed after an entire concert, and at an altitude of something like 7500 feet above sea level, the energy is that much more impressive. So many songs to listen and react to just from this concert. Try Dust to Dust, or Disciple to start with.

I swear for 90% of people it's instant love with this band. Welcome to the cult! Anything from this show is a hit. Disciple, Animosity, and Kool Aid Kids are a couple of favourites. But then so are Revenant and Dust To Dust with the drummer Pau (POW!) singing lead. The only songs I wouldn't recommend from this show are Survive and When I'm Alone. Written when they were very young, they are fan favourites for sure, but belong in that era. They performed them at a Tedx show when they were 12, 15, and 17. That performance is a classic as well, and is a great place to hear those songs.

You’ll find a song that’s amazing and then realize they wrote it when they were 14-15. So talented along with being great showman.

I enjoyed your reaction and I'm also new to this band. I was hooked after hearing the 1st song which was the live version of Enter Sandman from this live concert. Its been about 2 weeks and I can't stop binge listening to them. I think most agree that their live performances are killer. The Evolve official video was shot on the cheap in a parking garage using a bunch of cast/crew's iPhones (including one on a drone). For the live version at the Teatro Metropolitan, Lzzy Hale's (Halestorm's) crew came down to Mexico City with ~70 crates of lighting and screens to support The Warning after they opened for Halestorm. That whole Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert is awesome and the audio remix on the videos is sweet.

I have seen over 400 live shows over my 62 years. Saw the Warning a couple months from the front row. They moved ahead of Queen and Kiss as the best show I have ever seen. This song is often used as their encore. Check out when they did it at the VMA's, just killer.

Thanks for this awesome reaction, Tim. Glad you got around to this great band. They’ve been my favorite now since 2020. Discovered them a bit late but man what a ride it’s been. Seeing them rise as a legit power trio that is making a big mark in the music industry. Now is a good time to go down the rabbit hole of their last 3 albums because perhaps in a matter of months they’ll be releasing a new album. They’ve been on tour this year in Europe, the US and Latin America for this last leg and will have more serious time in the studio.

You commented about their energy, for context, this was the last song played in a set just under 2 hours. They literally don't have a bad song. Going forward if you're going to do a bunch of their music I'd hold off on Queen of the Murder Scene album until you're ready to do it in its entirety as it's a spectacular concept album that they wrote when they were just teenagers.

Welcome to The Warning. It will be fun to watch your reactions so I subscribed. Man, you have to see them in person. I did just that last Saturday and my voice is still gone and my body aches. It is nonstop rocking. If you truly want to go through the rabbit hole, you can listen to their Teatro Metropolitan full concert, or maybe the whole Lunario Concert, but that one has to be in order because it is a concept album. There are no filler songs.

*a little history:* many of us (shout out to TWA aka The Warning Army!) have been following DPA/TW (Dany, Pau [like "POW!"], and Ale [like "Ah leh"] aka "The Warning"), three sisters from Monterrey Mexico, since or before their first videos as a band started to hit the streams back in 2012... in 2014 a video of them doing a cover of Metallica's *Enter Sandman* from the "Black" album went viral... they did a few other covers but were also writing their own music, as well... they decided pretty early to not become known as a cover band... so they started releasing their own music... in 2021, DPA/TW answered a call from Metallica to take a song, any song, from the "Black" album, twist it around, upside down, and backward... keep the lyrics but make it something else... DPA/TW teamed up with Alessia Cara, a Canadian Pop and R&B artist, to reimagine *Enter Sandman* as a more haunting, eerie, and dark lullaby than the metal original... they did this in 10 days, during Covid, with Alessia working from remote in Canada... there are now three renditions of *Enter Sandman* done by DPA/TW... the original close to true cover that went viral, the OMV of the reimagined, and several of DPA/TW playing it in concert where it somehow comes out even darker and more foreboding bringing almost constant chills to some fans when they hear or experience it... DPA/TW started with music at a very young age... like 3 and 5 for Pau (drums) and Dany (guitar)... Ale (bass) wasn't even born yet... they started with piano and classical music... Ale also started on piano when she was old enough... as a family, they used to watch concerts on TV together... music has always been a part of their lives and they are influenced by many bands from years past... then came the game, Rock Band, which Dany and Pau played all the time with Ale watching and clapping along... Pau gravitated to the drums and Dany the guitar... Ale chose the bass even though she didn't know what it was at first... the bass was Ale's second choice for an instrument... originally she wanted to play the harp... they couldn't find anyone to teach her harp, though, so the bass it is, to everyone's delight! her original 4-string bass was a 1/2 size bass which was still quite big for her... later she went to a 3/4 size 4-string bass... today, Ale has several bass guitars but she mostly plays her Specter 5-string... since she was 15 years old, Ale is a Specter Featured Artist... her Specter bass has a 35" neck on it and the coloring on the body is named "Ale's Inferno"... not long after Ale started playing the bass, the girls realized they had all they needed to form a band and here we are, today... Pau is a powerful force behind her drums... in her younger days, she was likened to "Animal", the drummer on The Muppets... she put her entire body into every stroke... it was quite joyful watching her in action... she has refined her form in recent times but she still has a powerful swing and a much stronger sound... some like to say that "she beats her drums like they owe her money!" LOL since she has refined her form, she also doesn't break as many sticks as she used to... when she did break one, she seamlessly replaced it without losing a beat and many times no one ever even noticed... pure professionalism, there... in one of their interviews, Pau comments about having been playing the drums for 13 years... that was two years ago so she has 15 years under her belt, now... Pau also takes lead vocals on several songs while she is playing her drums... there are not very many singing drummers in the world, today... she does aerobic exercises and running while singing to keep up her stamina and breath control... she's been singing while playing the drums since her early years... you can find videos of Pau doing drum covers when she is like 8 or 9 years old... Dany is a goofball and total guitar nerd... she has numerous guitars in her arsenal... PRS, Rick Toon Spearfish, Manson, Gibson Explorer (gift from Lzzy Hale of Halestorm), and more recently, a mustard yellow Manson was given to her by Matt Bellamy of Muse, one of the band's bigger influences... DPA/TW have covered several of Muse's songs and more recently they have opened for Muse in Mexico and the UK numerous times... hearing Dany make her Mansons sing is quite the treat... especially when seeing them live... Dany is also the main lead singer for the group... she has quite a range (one vocal coach says Dany can hit D5) and can growl or put gravel in her tone when needed... she easily expresses emotions with her voice and her facial expressions drive it all home while she is singing... Ale and Dany both use Orange Amps to drive their sound... the three of them, together, create a huge wall of sound that flat out pummels you when you see them live... today the girls are 23 (Dany - Jan 30 2000), 21 (Pau - Feb 5 2002), and 18 (Ale - Dec 13 2004)... they have just released the full concert they did at the Teatro Metropolitan (Metropolitan Theater) in CDMX (Mexico City) back in Aug 2022... Mexico City (2240m, 7350ft) is higher in altitude than Denver, Colorado (1609m, 5280ft)! certainly higher than their home town of Monterrey, Mexico (540m, 1770ft)... this is mentioned because of the altitude and thin air... when doing strenuous activities, you need more air... in some of their early concerts, you can tell the altitude catches them out a bit... you can find their recent Aug 2022 concert on DPA/TW's YT Videos page as individual videos of the songs or as one video of the entire concert with opening and closing BTS (behind the scenes) added... they may also have a playlist of the individuals so they can be viewed in proper setlist order... the Met Theater in CDMX holds like 3500 and sold out both nights they played (Aug 26th and 29th)... some huge milestones took place at the 2023 MTV VMAs... 1) The Warning were invited to play two of their songs on the Extended Stage... 2) they were the only ones to play that were not nominated for anything... 3) they are the first Mexican band to perform at the MTV VMAs... those are all quite the achievements! for the VMAs performance, there were four takes shot... two 45 second ones for broadcast and two full length ones for each of their songs, *MORE* and *Evolve* which MTV has posted to their YT channel... DPA/TW have a working relationship with Pepsi in Mexico and have shot several commercials for them... this relationship plus being signed with Lava helped greatly with this milestone in their career, i'm sure... additionally, this summer (of 2023), they were the first Mexican band to play "Rock am Ring" and "Rock im Park" in Germany in 20 years... they have also been invited to play at the 2024 Wacken Open Air metal festival which is also held in Germany... currently they are completing their fourth album and finishing up their "Error" World Tour which has taken them all over the Americas, the UK, and Europe... i still can't believe it has been 10 years! it seems like only yesterday i was watching a very young Pau beating her drums into submission and then seeing videos of all three of them playing together as they started their journey... the rabbit hole is deep and quite enjoyable! come on in, there's plenty of room for more! 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

Believe me when I say they do not have a bad song and the last song you heard from them is your favorite. They have a deep rabbit hole to go down and I am sure you will enjoy it all.

I like the double reaction, get to see that they can do it live even better than the album. Another multi-reaction you might try is Enter Sandman. They did a cover when they were very young that went viral and got the attention of Metallica. Years later, they get invited to be on Metallica's Blacklist album, where they do a cover of Enter Sandman with Canadian vocalist Alessia Cara. Then watch it live from the Teatro Metropolitan Concert from last year to see the best version of it.
