The 'Church' will go 'underground'.. the 'Remnant'.. try to buy bibles, rosaries, blessed candles, scapulars, medals, and a little food/water , seeds... because in time , when the 'mark of the beast ' comes into play, you will not be able to obtain these things.. God protects His people, as He did in Egypt for example.. lambs blood over the door of the Israelites, the widow and her bowl of flour, Joseph in Egypt interpreting the dream of the king.. etc.. He wants some of us to stick around till Jesus comes down on the clouds mainly to be here to pray for the Salvation of souls ! God bless

Never lose the edge of vigilance for becoming worthy of Christ's Redemptive Sacrifice - as it is The World The Flesh and The Devil that all work against Redemption resulting in Salvation of souls. Do the details of “the warning” have precedent in prior approved Marian apparitions? For example, can it be shown at any point in time, for the last, almost 2000 years of Christian history, that the world “stopped” - at which point everyone was to “see” their sins just as God does? The Trinitarian God often works signs his faithful can recognize via knowledge of scripture & tradition. Only very occasionally does He not - for example, the Virgin birth of Jesus Christ. If there is no previously approved Marian apparition involving the entire world stopping to have their own sins revealed to themselves, it would be prudent to be exceptionally skeptical about such “prophecies”.

The Warning is, of course, unprecedented. Not sure why that makes you conclude "exceptionally skeptical" attitudes are called for. The Church does not endorse such an approach to discerning private revelation merely because an unprecedented event is foretold.

However, as the Catholic Church has looked at prophecy through the lens of tradition, especially via scripture, lending approval based on prior spiritual & historical truths that the mystery of time by pulling back the veil has revealed. With an otherwise unprecedented prophecy that has no basis either in scripture and/or tradition, that has already been deemed to have no supernatural qualities by the local ordinary, should naturally lead to an exceptionally skeptical attitude. Any reputable Catholic mystical theology review begins with a healthy dose of skepticism.

I'm no theologian, but from 30 years of almost constant listening and reading on Catholicism, I agree with your call for skepticism regarding the so-called "Illumination of Conscience" being touted these days. Scripture, Tradition, Magisterial defined Doctrine, and our powers of reason, combine to make us healthy skeptics to discern Truth. I don't think you're correct about the example of the Virginal Birth of Jesus, though, as it was prophesied in Sacred Scripture, not a private revelation.

The Miracle of the Sun at Fatima can be viewed as a foretaste; people repented on the spot, fearing for their lives. Obviously that event was also a foretaste of what we could anticipate in 2029, when the comet Apophis (named after the Egyptian serpent God who sought to devour the Sun) is due and will probably fulfil Rev 12. If we prepare for "The Warning" we will be preparing for Apophis and for eternity, whether or not The Warning occurs. God bless.
