I'm 58 years old and a native New Yorker, I have been going to concerts since I was 17. I've seen many of the greats, from Zepplin, The Stones, The Who, Kiss, Rush, Motorhead, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Ozzy and many others, and I can honestly say, The Warning is one of those bands that if they come around in anyone's lifetime, their lives will forever be changed and like Kiss was the soundtrack of my life, The Warning will be that to many of the younger generation and they will be around as long as they want to. They truly took everything from their vocals, musicianship and especially live performances to another level!

Soy seguidor nuevo, encontré la banda gracias al trailer de Midnight Suns, veía en los comentarios que hablaban más del cover de Enter Sandman que del mismo juego XD y me llamó la atención porque también soy de México, así que las busqué en YT y como soy sub de ShaunTrack, pues vi sus 2 videos y me ha encantado su música. Apenas hace una semana las empecé a escuchar y ya son una de mis bandas favoritas en mucho tiempo. Sus canciones son muy profundas, poderosas y hasta pegajosas, la canción de "Black Holes" especialmente me dejó con el ojo cuadrado y Queen Of The Murder Scene es uno de los mejores álbumes que he escuchado y si me están diciendo que el nuevo álbum estará incluso mejor, es que entonces va a estar impresionante, ya la prueba de que esto es verdad son "Evolve" y "Choke" que ambas son increíbles y muestran mucho su crecimiento como artistas. Otra cosa que también quería decir es que es genial el como tratan a su publico, he visto algunos directos resubidos, recopilaciones de YT y sus dinámicas con los fans, como el Dany/Pau/Ale Day y pues simplemente se hacen querer. En mi caso también ayuda un poco que al ser de mi mismo país y mas o menos de mi edad (19), me he identificado un poquito más con ustedes, por ejemplo, ayer estaba viendo un resubido de su directo jugando Mario Kart 8 y hubo un momento en que Ale dijo "don´t bet on me" y se pusieron a cantar la de HSM y me ataqué de risa porque también pensé en esa canción XD, no sé, cosas así no se darían si no fuesen como son y solo dan ganas de esperar más de ustedes, ya sean canciones o directos, de verdad, nunca cambien. No puedo esperar a que sea 10 de Septiembre para escuchar su nuevo cover de Enter Sandman y a Octubre para las nuevas canciones.

Creo que la ultima vez que el rock se puso de moda en México (en años recientes) fue cuando salió la película de Queen. Pero confío en que entre el nuevo cover de Enter Sandman + el nuevo álbum conseguirán a llegar a más gente, a Choke y Evolve les ha ido muy bien en visitas así que esperemos y sigan así.

I said this exact quote already in 2017 when I first discovered TW ! "They're not good for being this young. They're not good for being girls ! They're just a damn good rock band, period !" And they're still making our faces melt, by every album they release ! It's really hard to comprehend how talanted and gifted these sisters really are ! Like Rudy said; Can they even write a bad song ?! I sure haven't found one of all the ones I've heard this far, their standard is unbelivable high ! Also, I must express my genuine joy and hapiness about the rock hard artistic integrity of these sisters ! They've always been confident and strong minded about what they create and what they do ! No one tells these ladies what to do or how to do it ! They've turned down several prducers and record companies in the past because of this ! This makes me so proud of them ! They just don't compromise ! They are fully aware of what they do, why they do it and how they're gonna do it ! And I'm sure we all agree that if they were to adapt to the music buissness, they wouldn't be this good and they absolutely wouldn't be this special ! It's because they are themselves we love them so much ! They aren't doing this to be famous or to get rich, they are expressing themselves artisticly because they're loving it, and it shows ! We can feel it, watching them live and that's what we love about them ! They don't sound like any other band, and that's what defines a genuine, great rock band ! These sisters have all the tools to reach as far as they want ! And they're not only have the tools, they are permium quality tools too ! The phrase; "The sky is the limit" have rarely been more suitable then when talking about The Warning ! I really hope I will be able to experience them live soon again ! If this damn pandemic doesn't stop things, I'll see you at the Trubadeour in Hollywood in January 2022 !

@@tpndgo2061 Yeah, both nights sold out in a blink of an eye ! If these shows will be possible to do for them, it will be my fifth and sixth time seeing them live, and I live in Sweden ! I saw them for the first time in their hometown Monterrey in 2017 and then three times at the Whisky A Go Go in 2019 and 2020 (just a month before the lockdown) ! I'm really excited to go back to LA to see them again !

That's the only way I would consider buying it or --- a virtual CD? Charge maybe $24 for "liner-notes", with frame-able art-work for my wall, and a download code/license for the FLAC set. My Paypal is ready! A collectible Vinyl option would be a nice touch. King Gizzard's run a thrifty ~US$25, through Universal Music Group, but I've seen vinyl cost over US$60 (in the case of Band-Maid in the $80's!!).

I used to love the minidisc format and hung up to it as long as I could but eventually have to move on. CD is a dying medium. It will eventually be obsolete too. There aren't many CD retailers as there used to be.

@@annietran901 Sadly, here in the US prerecorded Minidisc titles were never a thing. We had minidisc but only as a recorder. iPods and iRivers quickly took over mobile stereo recording tasks and cost even less. Some could even record in AIFF and FLAC! CD are already obsolete but, unfortunately, the mainstream record industry hasn't done very well to keep up in the area of distribution. At this time, if you want lossless, buying the CD may be the only option. hdtracks has some artists, qobuz some others, but then you may want the graphic arts too. Situation for vinyl is a bit different. For those into vinyl the physical and graphic component is a huge part of the value.
