The backing vocal, in support of the lead vocal, shouldn't be heard as loud as the lead vocal. It's basic sound 101. Whoever was at the board, must have been the festival's person, didn't do a great job with the vocal mix. Have a great Dany Day!

Each time I hear these young ladies, I imagine how proud their parents must be, and am amazed at how how they have totally captured the modern rock zeitgeist. The problem with pointing out that Danni is an amazing vocalist and instrumentalist is that Pau is equally if not more astounding in her abilities. Then you have the mysterious and sphinx like Ale with her own fan club (bordering on worshippers). Precious few new bands that are worth making the effort to see. The Warning are one of them. It's not just the rock, but the role model of how everything is possible if you are serious and determined enough. Bravo ladies

@@2tango641 my comment about the sound not being good was simply about the sound and not about the band. In another lifetime (and in another century actually) I did go to a tech school and spent a few years in the music recording industry. No I never did sound for a festival but I did record bands and sometimes it was live in the sense that they were all in the same room of the recording studio. I'm sorry you misunderstood my comment as I may have misunderstood yours as well.

When I heard them live I was on the Ale side, and I don't remember Ale as powerful with these so many vocal parts (including in harmony) and after listening to the other 50 recordings of concerts over the tour... it still sounds like Ale was taking new vocal parts with Dany where she had not before?

Bad mix on the vocals. probably wasn't their sound guy because it's a festival.

@@davidkozin her vocals are mostly backing and in particular backing Dany's lead with a lower bass sound in this song. That's done in order to give a fuller bottom to the lead. In this mix, her vocal was as loud as Dany's when it should have been positioned not as loud in the mix. Of course Ale does not do lead vocals (per her very adamant choice) but does great in her vocal support however that needs to be from song to song.

@@pissingelk - This definitely sounds like Ale’s vocal mic was hotter than usual (as it sounds through the phone speaker, which is also picking up on a lot of solid bass tone that I am happy to hear) and I know Ale expressed her feelings about vocals and her sister’s are not going to force her into something she does want to do, but in this case the different mixing choices (e.g. like Ale being louder was fun to hear. ) I just wondered, but mix makes sense. It did sacrifice Pau (relatively) which is a negative. I will be at first Halestorm / Warning @ Freedom Hill in Detroit/Sterling Heights (about 5 miles from my house.) Excited for Dany and Lzzy to meet and it is going to be a really supportive pairing. Thx!

The audience was like a warm glass of buttermilk.....they did get more enthusiastic. But this was a great beginning. Ale's mike volume was great! What happened to the video during Choke? Was looking forward to Ale's solo. Can't wait to seeing them July 25th.

I'm pretty sure she does warm ups and chicas exercises to withstand the schedule but nevertheless as a singer myself it does worry me. So Dany and Ale are not playing their usual instruments? I'm not surprised that Pau isn't playing her Mayday tour drums but surprised about Dany and Ale. The audio here is just okay, of course this is outdoors so that plays into it. And as I'm listening, Dany played an oops wrong note while during the Mayday part of Animosity. Also, not a great mix of voices. Ale too high during backing vocals, Pau was lost on her part of QOTMS. Probably someone other than their sound guy handling the audio at the show. Maybe somebody else will post a better audio and visual video of this show.

They toured all over the U.S and Mexico. Have recorded two independent albums, one with their label, write their own songs and music. Chosen by Metallica to be on their black list album. Have opened for the Foo Fighters, Def Leppard, The Killers, and others. Will be doing several shows with Halestorm. They're not out of their element. Nice try tho, hater.😂
