Although 21st Century Blood is considered their first official music video I feel this one should be even if it is a cover, theirs so much power and energy form these 3 girls. You have to admit that the sound they make for a 3 piece is just amazing. They've come a long way since this video was made and I'm sure you can see it too. Their like a fine wine, they only get better with age. Warning, the future is at ahead.

You are absolutely right, this was done live at this location and mixed quite well. This last December I was in Monterrey visiting my fiancé and we Contacted Luis the Warnings dad to see if we could get directions to this location to go see where this song was recorded. Unfortunately since this video the site was built on with a new house and it’s private property now.

There are always going to be a few trolls who give thumbs down to almost any video on YT, but for this many I'd have to guess that they are largely devoted Foo Fighters fans who aren't impressed by 3 young Mexican girls killing it their own way. Having gone back and watched the original FF version, I'll take The Warning's version anytime.

Not a Foo fan but the girls did a great job. Dany's really attitude sells the song. They make it a real rock 'n roll (not really hard rock) sounding song.

Great reaction Dave! Great cover be The Warning. I’m with you on the thumbs down matter; when I see thumbs down even before a video is out then there is obvious and purposeful efforts out there to provide negative reflections regardless what they do.

@@TheUnderdogDe Hey Dog, to back you up, here is the comment from The Warning on this video. The Warning @Bryan Liguori By raw he is referring to no backing tracks and not audio recorded at a studio or overdubbed, what you hear is what we played right there. The video, well , we play that a lot of times to get all the shots and that was obviously edited. The audio was quick mixed at home and later incorporated to the final video. Cheers!

Fully agree, it’s one of their best videos up to date! Pure rock! The talent shines through… you are absolutely correct with your thumbs down remark! There are some Mexicans who blame the girls for singing in English, not in spanish… do you know their great song Narcisista? That‘s The Warning‘s answer to these people.. first song in spanish, and a big rocking middle finger to these narrow minded people! 👍⚡️🤘

We’re with you Dave on your thumbs down comment. When taken into consideration, it only amounts to less than one percent which is still quite amazing because 99% of those that listened and watched the video found it rather appealing. I wonder how many of the thumbs down viewers were actually just 🤖 bots.

I'm not a Foo fan, but this is still my favorite The Warning video. To me it's the best sound they ever have recorded and the style of the song just fits, basic rock without any modern "commercial" vibes. I'm in general getting more and more tired on the modern layering production where even a trio suddenly have 3 guitar. Back to basics, less is more. You see it everywere on YT, comments under recordings done live saying, "this sounds better than the album". #thegreatresetofstudioproduction

Hi Dave, I often wonder why people give thumb downs. Before "Choke" premiered, there were like 4 thumbs down, why dislike a video you haven't seen yet (except for those of us on The Warning's Patreon).

Thats nuts, thumbs down really hurt youtube videos so its one reason i dont thumbs down unless ithink the person is being antagonistic and racist or something like that then i tend to thumbs down and ignore them going forward. I get thumbs down as i don't exagerate my reaction like i know alot of reactors do. I think if you listen to as much music as i do, roughtly 12 hours a day, i think it takes alot to make my jaw drop.

@@markbell4982 , just because you are a fan and support a band you don't have to LOVE everything they do, or every change they make. I'm sure a lot of hardcore Metallica fans gave St. Anger huge thumbs downs. Bret Simmons that was a big The Warning fan and the guy that put the band on TEDx twice, wrote in public that he didn't like QOTMS at all. If Choke got some thumbs down on Patreon, it's just fans that are honest. Critic or thumbs down are not necessarily bad.. or from "haters".

The thumbs downs are mostly from one-eyed Foos fans - and believe me,I've had many disputes with many of them who are so petty about the Foos being covered,and especially by 3 young females - it so hurts their precious feelings. Now,that is not every Foos fan by any means,just some who aren't grown up. I'm not a Foos fan but they do have a few good songs I'll listen to,especially since The Warning had covered them,and isn't that part of what a cover does ? Anyhoo,I'd love to know what Dave Grohl would make of The Warning,and especially Paus drumming.
