Ale may come across as an introvert in public interviews, but I’ve watched years of monthly live chats with them on Patreon, and many times she talked every bit as much as her sisters. She’s only quiet with people she doesn’t know.

I have never seen a band who really cares for their fans the way these young ladies do. All I can tell you is that if you ever get the chance to see these ladies in concert treat yourself. No only do they slay it live but their fan base is filled with people who treat you the same way the band treats their fans....like family. Happy New Year Jesse! ⚡⚡⚡

QOTMS is my favorite album ever, even the weakest song is still solid and the best songs are absolutely phenomenal. I love these vlogs so much -- I don't know of any other bands talking this much about the songwriting process.

What you are seeing here is young genius at work. Look beyond the sisterly back and forth here. No one (and I mean no one) can put together a great concept album at their ages (18, 16, and 13). Watch the QOTMS concert at Lunario. Unbelievable.

The Nada Mas Records controversy! I forgot about that. It turned out to be an inside joke between Rudy and the girls. They were joking about record deals and ended up putting “Nada Mas” (which means No More in Spanish) in the info section of a video. We melted down as a collective. Did that mean they were leaving the industry? Was it a small label no one had heard of? Patreon exploded for a week or so, but Dany finally calmed us down with this vlog. 😂

Something that I saw Pau point out in a clip was how the handwritten lyrics in the booklet start out neat and tidy, then progressively get more messy and frantic with each song, as the Queen goes mad. Coffee stains on the pages give way to blood splatters, and certain words shout from the page.

The art is great on that album. If you can buy the record/album much better to have due to the booklets and the art inside the booklets. I don't know how the art came out on the CD but the booklets are 12"x12" so much better.

I love these vlogs. It’s great hearing them explain it but even more just to hear the enthusiasm they bring to everything. I didn’t find them until Mayday came out and when I listened to Queen of the Murder Scene I didn’t even realize it was a concept with a storyline. I’d listen at work which meant I’d only really hear every third song, but it was on repeat for days so I heard everything out of order. Every time The End came on it made me so sad. I still thought all were just individual songs, maybe autobiographical. But by the end of the week I’d looked closer and figured it out. One of the best records ever.

So did they release the songs for QOTMS one by one to their patreon fans and then made it into an album? is that right? can someone tell me? Please.

The album was funded on Kickstarter, so Patreon supporters got teasers but only Kickstarter backers got the early access. But basically, Dust to Dust was released as a single in early October 2018. The rest of the album was released as Chapter 1 (Crimson Queen, Ugh, The One) in mid/late October, then Chapter 2 (Stalker, Red Hands, The Sacrifice) in early November, and Chapter 3 (Sinister Smiles, Dull Knives, QOTMS) in mid November. In late November, Chapter 4 (PSYCHOTIC, Hunter, The End) marked the complete release of QOTMS.
