Serious point though… in THEIR generation, rock bands aren’t popular and aren’t saying these things. So for THEIR generation, this is awesome. And don’t forget their ages here… they were NOT considered gods or rock here. This was the first track of their first album! The world had never heard their songwriting before. And its pretty clear that you feel the younger generation knows these things they are trying to teach in the song and video. The entire point here is that the audience is their age… 15/13/10 years old. Gives perspective. Love your reaction! The ad helped pay for the expensive music video… you maybe didn’t know they were independent and just a family here and for several more years. Costs money!

Back in those days they made their money through crowdfunding. I am sure Nature's Factory was part of that. Don't forget this album and Queen of the Murder Scene were made without the help of a record label.

I find this video simply incredible, the film making is fantastic and of course this song by teens is one of my favorites, they are so brilliant!. Thanks for that info, always knew it an award winning video just never knew the particulars. Also thought I had read or heard somewhere that this video was done on a low budget as well, which, if true makes it even more impressive. Thanks @thontor, you always have great information to share. This first album was released in 2017, they were 17 15 and 12. But it was written and recorded a year or so earlier. Ale missed some time in school to record, she missed part of the 4th grade.

This song for me is brilliant, taking a leaf out of Black Sabbath's book, being so young and playing a solid metal song like that with a message we can look back on to gauge where Humanity is at is completely priceless. The Warning are here, and thank God they are.

You have understand, they wrote this song in their mid-teens, long before they were signed by a record label. They had to use a go fundraiser to make this video and certainly didn’t view themselves as being worshipped as god’s. They work very hard at keeping their Patreon’s happy!!

I think most of us (TWA) recognize the irony of 3 young Gen Z’ers “warning” against the dangers of social isolation and addiction to social media, when social media, and KZbin in particular, is largely responsible for their fame. Still an important message and a great music video. 😎👍

Songs like this - Heavy, dark lyrics that address social issues, heavy, catchy riffs, and driving bass and drums are why I liken them to being the young, female Black Sabbath of the 21st century.

I have always thought it was insane that Metallica wrote songs like One, Master of Puppets, Face to Black and Disposable Heroes when they were in their early 20's. Than I came across the Warning! They started writing songs with deep, meaningful lyrics when they were in their early teens!

I saw them when they went viral and thought, wow what talented kids, and then drifted off and forgot, forgive me, I’m old. A few years later while desperately searching the internet for some interesting new music and came across a video of them doing Dust to Dust in a club and was hooked. Within a few hours I hunted down everything I could find on them and was shocked to discover I had seen them as kids do Enter Sandman and also on the Ellen show doing Crazy Train. The Warning and Band Maid who I found about the same time saved this old musician from hanging it for good. In them I see a promise that Rock still has a chance to carry on.

While some of this is put on for the music video, if you look back at their older videos, Pau played that way to get the sound she wanted out of her kit. She explained in a rig rundown video that she used to use lighter sticks and really had to hit hard because she's tiny.

Well they weren't called goddesses back when they wrote this. Remember you said it's kind of funny they're writing about the goddess thing when they are goddesses.They became goddesses later.

One thing about The Warning is that they seem constitutionally incapable of writing fluff lyrics even when they try! Keep Me Fed was their attempt to have fun with their songs and look at the lyrics they came up with.... (I think the music and lyrics are really good but I would not call the lyrics light-hearted at all.)

The passive aggressive spiel of his with the fake laugh is annoying enough for me, but his criticism makes no sense. Their generation is learning about the world for the first time and from what I can see, they’ll be the first to make a difference. There’s an 11yr old playing bass in this video that has 2 albums out already. I wonder what he was doing at that age…
